Very informative. Includes an excellent illustration with cut-outs to reveal details inside castles.

This is a great book combining real pictures and diagrams to capture my preschool classes attention. They lived looking at the pictures that compared rooms from a castle to a modern day home.

Wonderful images and explanations of life in medieval times.

Has the basics of Castles in it. I was looking for a particular castle and it is not in this book, but I will keep it for when my niece and nephew visit.

I bought it for my son but ended up reading it more than he did. A good book.

My nephew is a bit of a bookworm and really into castles, history etc. Was told to get him a book about "castles". This was perfect. Lots of great pictures and descriptions. He was combing through this book immediately after opening and spotted reading it multiple times over the holidays.

He can read them himself I've bought the whole range nearly as he can't get enough of them. They are especially good for helping with school topics.

Book is great. Bought for my 8 year old grandson who loves stories about castles and knights and kings. Book came damaged but hopefully the replacement will arrive before Christmas.
