Searched for a long time for a perfect bag for my husband to use as shopping bag when he travels by train to SF for groceries. I was looking for a light but durable bag, that's big enough for a man but not too bulky, and expandable when needed, with a top zipper. This is 20L - 30L!! It also has to look good. Oh and it shd have side pockets deep enough for a water bottle. And a laptop compartment that can be used to hold documents in place.This bag meets ALL criterias. And the price point is excellent.So good, I ordered 3 more in different colors. 1 for me, my son (who walks to to groceries) and my husband's oldest buddy who does the groceries shopping for his household and want something trendy and cool for a man. Lol.Yep.. they all love this gift..

I bought the Helly Hanson roll top backpack and loved it. Decided to get similar bags for my sons. I got one this bag and my other a stubble in co. All of these bags are pretty much the same size but this one is $30, the Helly Hanson is $75, and the stubble and co is $145. They are all different materials but all are similar size and I don’t think one is better than another, just different. The stubble is a softer material and the HH bag is much more of a thick canvas while bag this is a lighter material that is very similar to the 5.11 non tear pants if you are familiar with that maybe obscure reference.After seeing these 3 bags I think this is my favorite and it is by far the cheapest.If you are comparing the 3, stubble does have nice lined pockets and a unique soft fabric and is well made. The HH is a much simpler design but with heavier canvas material but no bottle holder. This bag has everything as the stubble and co but with a lighter but still durable material.

Bought as a replacement for my 17in laptop backpack. Can fit the same amount of stuff (clothes, shoes, laptop, etc) without being cramped or overly bulky/stuffed. My only complaint is I wish it had a front outside pocket. It's the only reason it didn't get 5 stars. Can't speak on water resistance since it hasn't rain yet.

I bought this for my wife and she loves it. It is a perfect size (even when almost fully packed, it will fit under airline seats), you can get enough for a long weekend trip inside, and the color (green) is great. It is very well made, even more so than a much more expensive name brand that I previously had bought for myself. For the price you can't go wrong.

Can be huge or tiny, water resistant, easy to pack up or pack in, large inner pocket fits laptop, smaller pockets to not lose items. Was using it as a commuter bag for work but also will be using for hiking. I use in the rain and the roll up + zipper is great for keeping electronics safe. Water bottle pockets are large enough for a Nalgene and the internal keyholder in the zip pocket on the front is a great feature for those who lose everything like myself.

Just took it on an overseas trip and having a roll top style backpack was really convenient. Used it as my carry on to put under the plane seat and it comfortably fit my 15.6in laptop, 11in iPad, a couple of books, headphones, a sweater, toiletry bag, and a few more things. The shoulder straps aren’t the most comfortable if it gets too heavy, however, for the price, can’t complain. Contents stayed dry after a quick rain drizzle, but the way it’s made, I wouldn’t bet on it being waterproof. I do like the pockets and light padding inside - it has now replaced my messenger bag when transporting the laptop and other electronics.I got the pink one and the color is accurate to the product listing. Got many compliments and would consider purchasing again.

This bag is not for you if you have lots of small items that need compartments with quick and easy access. It can be annoying reaching deep into the main compartment to look for your stuff. I wanted this as an everyday backpack for my laptop and work items, but I will instead use this for the outdoors and short trips.In general, it is well-built and smart-looking. It's best used for its large capacity - like taking large supplies, clothes for a trip etc. I don't regret buying this, only that it isn't suitable for my work items which include lots of small electronics, wires, laptop, notebooks etc. I would have gone for a backpack built with more and easy-to-access compartments.
