I love these Gain pods! They have an amazing clean smell and leave my clothes smelling just as fresh even when I use just one pod for an almost to full load of laundry. Definitely use one pod per washing cycle because if you use multiple pods per cycle, then they won't melt correctly leaving sticky residue on your laundry. I did this mistake in the beginning when I thought one pod was not enough to wash my clothes properly and give them that clean smell I love so much. This case holds an additional 5 pods compared to other gain/tide containers I've seen of the same size and I paid the same price for them (although I believe the price has gone up now).I definitely recommend to buy, especially for college students, people living in small apartments or homes, or people who do laundry at the laundromat. The container itself does not take up a lot of space (I have mine stored in the back of my closet) and when you do laundry, you do not have to take the entire thing. You can just carry the number of pods you need which greatly reduces the weight you have to carry. And there's no spilling of powder or liquid soap (plus the pods themselves are not easily popped. The absolute easiest way to do laundry with detergent. However, it's definitely not the cheapest. Don't get me wrong, this is the only detergent I purchase now but doing some math will tell you that the cheapest detergents out there are often powders. I've used all three and I can safely say I'd much rather toss a "fling" into the laundry than measure, pour, and make sure the liquid doesn't leak anywhere (or spill powder for that matter).Another drawback is the inability to use any less than one fling per load of laundry. So, if you are washing a small or medium load, you'll be using one fling. If you have a heavily soiled load, you might (or should) be using two.Now, the smell is your wonderful Gain smell. The flings are also supposed to have other cleaners combined with the detergent. Let me just say, I don't ever want to use anything else! This is your one stop shop for absolutely great smelling clothes every time! The Gain flings couldn’t be easier to use, simply add on fling to the drum, turn on the washer, and add clothes. You don’t have to worry about measuring anything. The directions say for extra-large loads to add two pods, but I have never had a load that one wouldn’t handle. I notice the great smell, as long as two weeks after putting the laundry up! I started out using the other purple scented flings, now use these the original scented ones. Never have had a problem with any residue stuck on my cloths or any unusual issues. I use warm to hot water when I wash my cloths and always put them in to desolve before I put my cloths in. My sister uses cold water and tosses them in on top of the cloths so kind of a different way. But still cloths come out clean and they have thus far worked great. Much better than the tide pods. I can use the regular tide but the pods im allergic too. These gain flings awesome. Still very surprised at how large this container is for the price I paid. Very happy.
