Middle of Knight: Volume 2 (Jack & Jill) Paperback – 2 Dec. 2017

This book carries on straight from book one End Of Day and another heart stopper full of unanswered questions that keep you reading and reading until your vision distorts. The writing is perfection and the story consumes your whole mind. You need answers and in this book we get a few more.Jackson meets A.J's cleaner and the attraction is sizzling - at least for him. Ryn who has so many insecurities borne from an abusive husband is shy and unsure of this attraction to Jackson who is so self assured and gorgeous and ten years younger than her. Exploring their new founded relationship is delightful to read. There were laughs a minute, drama's galore, a some cringe worthy moments but I wouldn't have missed it for the world. We get to see Jackson ease Ryn out of her shell slowly and it's a dream to read and experience.In this book where A.J and Jillian are concerned it is so much more emotional and heartrending and to be honest it broke my heart, there were tears and quite a few of them. My poor heart !!! Jillian as usual is so funny, strong and yet vulnerable and her unfiltered mouth is hilarious.All in all the first book was amazing, but be prepared because this one is even better. I can't wait to start the last and final book Dawn Of Forever.Wonderful books in all ways !!!!

Oh Shut the hell up!! I'm a complete and utter disaster area right now. This book just ripped my fuxxing heart out. That ending I swear I had to read it four times because I couldn't see through my tears.However this book was utterly amazing. Yes I cried buckets but I also laughed so much these characters have fantastic witty humour. Jackson has to be one of my favourite characters ever this guy is perfect in my eyes. You can't help but fall in love with him, the way he loves Ryn made my heart beat faster.Ryn doesn't stand a chance Jackson is relentless in his pursuit of her this guy has some serious moves when it comes to proving how much he wants her.I love these books the lives of these characters are complicated, dangerous and thoroughly addictive. They'll keep you on the edge of your seat. You'll love the journey they take you on it's unforgettable that's for sure.

I devoured this book... I wasn’t sure after reading book one. I was Intrigued enough to keep reading but wasn’t sure where the story was going as a lot of foundation building was planted. I’m so glad I did because I devoured this book totally.Jessica / Jillian and Jude / Jackson... two stories running parallel... crumbs being dropped and small revelations coming to light. This story is a complex one but it is so unique and so unlike anything I have ever read before. It’s keeping me on my toes and second guessing the plot.Told from a third person POV; this story has so many great characters , elements of dark, a secret undercover agency, moments of sadness and severe sexual tension that will keep you turning the pages. The brother / sister relationship is a strong bond & I like how their alter egos are complete opposite to the persons they were before they ‘died’.This author is a master storyteller and I will definitely be following her work from now on!

This series will make you laugh, cry and feel every emotion possible that falls in between love and loss.As we read on, there’s more mystery surrounding Knight and Day but with each turning page, more secrets are revealed. Jillian and Jackson continue to live their new lives and this time Jackson finally acquires a love interest in Ryn, AJ’s 40 year old cleaner. As expected, this age difference brings about a whole host of questions and challenges but Jackson is determined to prove to Ryn that her age doesn’t alter his feelings for her. Their relationship isn’t a smooth one as a result, especially when Ryn’s background starts to affect the way Jackson treats her and he wonders if he’s right for her afterall.After the shocking news about AJ, Jillian struggles to come to terms with what she must face, with or without him. AJ tries to pull away from Jillian and despite wanting to cling onto their connection, Jillian accepts that AJ needs to do what is best for him and his family. Despite the sadness surrounding them, Jillian continues to be Jillian and uses her crazy and dysfunctional personality to add a special light to the darkness that they both face.Jessica’s story continues in the background and her love for Luke is tangible. I love the quirky relationship they have from Luke’s seriousness to Jessica’s lunacy, and yet they maintain a bond which can’t be broken, despite their respective pasts. More and more is revealed about Jessica and Four but there are still a number of questions which remain unanswered but at least we know more about the mysterious G.A.I.L.I had hoped this this instalment would focus more on Jackson but his story remained an aside to Jillian’s. Obviously we want to know what happens next for her and AJ but I would have still liked to have experienced more Jackson! Overall, the story continues to build momentum and I can’t wait to see what happens next to Jessica/Luke, Jackson/Ryn and of course Jillian, especially after this story’s ending!

I absolutely loved Book 1 'End Of Day' but Jackson & Jillian's story gets even more addictive and mesmerising in book 2 'Middle of Knight'. I simply couldn't put it down!!I loved the continued unfolding development of complex and engaging characters, the plot line is well thought out and expertly delivered and the scene setting is brilliant.Simply put, I lost myself to this story the minute i started reading and i cannot WAIT for the 3rd and final segment of the series!!

So I read this book in a day, I avoided all responsibility and immersed myself in Jackson and Jillian's world, after book 1 I couldn't wait to see where the story was going, and Jewel E Ann did not disappoint. I've literally laughed and cried reading this book, I now can't understand how I ever thought I couldn't relate to Jill, I will be purchasing book 3 as soon as I finish this review....
