Testing out JOYO 2.4ghz transmitter and receiver, whilst singing Beautiful by Christina Aguilera x
The media could not be loaded. This JOYO 2.4ghz transmitter is pretty good. The only thing I don’t like so far using it on the first day today is that I get feedback and a buzzing sound through my SubZero PA, but overall it worked pretty well and the true test will be tomorrow when I use it at an open mic night. I hope it doesn’t let me down and cause technical issues. Perhaps I should have got a 5.8 GHz transmitter instead, but for the price, this is working pretty well. It’s also easy to use; just plug and play. I haven’t used it long enough to test out the battery life yet, but it’s lost one bar within the first 20 minutes of use. Oh and the price was just amazing. £43!! Bargain 😄

Cable less mic
Was a bit apprehensive when I ordered these that they might be too cheap but they work fine. Clear sound and no interference from other instruments as long as only a max of 4.

Game Changer

Low gain and high noise.
I used these with a Sure SM58 and am very disappointed. The gain is very low so the mixer level needs to be cranked up to max - this results in a high noise level (hiss). Turning off the receiver makes the hiss disappears so the noise is being introduced by the receiver and is not inherent mixer hiss. This system is probably adequate for a rockbound concert in a loud environment, but not for studio or conference situations which is what I purchased them for. I am contemplating returning them.
