I needed something to protect the wood floors under my kitchen table from scraping chairs, spills, and the occasional dog accident (I have a quite elderly dog). I also needed something with enough texture that my dog could walk comfortably—the wood floors are too slippery for him. This mat works great! Spills can be easily wiped up, the floor is protected, and there is enough traction for my dog. It looks decent, too. I was afraid it would look kind of tacky, but it’s very unobtrusive.This is making the chore of keeping my kitchen floors clean a lot easier. The only negative so far is that one edge of the mat (the one that was the inner part of the roll) is taking a few days to flatten, but that’s not a big deal.I’ve only had it a few days, so I don’t know how well it will hold up, but it seems strong and durable.Oh! One other thing—even though it’s very thin, I can feel a difference standing on it vs. the bare floor. It gives a tiny bit of cushioning, which is nice.

We had a litter of puppies and needed a nice waterproofed/claw-proofed area in the house. We put down a large tarp and then put this mat on top. We duct taped it to the tarp. We had our puppies in it for about 4-5 weeks and not a single puddle leaked through! I was able to clean messes easily and mop just fine. Not to mention their dagger claws didn’t scratch the floor at all. Highly recommend for keeping your nice.

Only downside is that it gives off a very strong smell. Even after having it for a few weeks it still smells very strong. I’ve tried cleaning it several times to no avail. But aside from that it works exactly as advertised.

It’s definitely better than other brands in size of 8x12, frosted floor protector. Great for the kitchen floor!

I was looking for a protector to put over my new Oushak rug without obstructing the view of the rug. This is perfect! Keeps my rug protected but allows the pattern to show through.

I just put these down today and I’m very happy with them so far. Will update if that changes. I have a large low pile rug to protect from my pups. So I put four of these together. They unrolled easily, were easy to maneuver, lie flat. I have a table and chairs on them and can easily move the chairs. They don’t seem to move around much with walking on the ones that aren’t held down by the table. I got frosted and can still see the design on the rug even though it’s obvious there is a plastic cover. Fingers crossed that these hold up well.

These come rolled up and never stop wanting to curl up. They have no teeth so they just slide all over and are a hazard. I wanted them for high traffic carpet areas. I had to purchase adhesive teeth squares (ment for furniture bottoms to not dent carpet) and carpet type to keep it in place and use a hair dryer on hot to stop the edge curling.These might be okay with something heavy sitting on them but I don't think they'd hold up long under a desk, rolling chair, or dining table. They arent that dense.

Very heavy and good quality. It went flat within two hours of laying it out. I’m using it to protect the floor in my pigs room. Might order another to cover more.
