This was categorised incorrectly as being Echo Show compatible; this may well have been Amazon's fault rather than the sellers. I am now working with Monocle Cam support to see if we get it recognised by the Show using Monocle as a gateway. The camera does support RTSP so almost ONVIF compliant and recognised by ODM (Onvif Device Manager) which will operate its PTZ functions. Also shows up in VLC using rtsp://admin:@IPaddress. I loaded different firmware to prevent it calling home to China although the company's app does work. Camera uses a Goke Electronics chip (GK7102) and probably is based on a standard Goke reference design . Some Digoo and Escam cameras seem to use the identical design and work with the same app.

I've had this up and running for a few days now. The camera is easy to set up and the app isn't bad either, it's in good English and easy to understand. The video quality is also pretty impressive. I went for the option of plugging it directly into a data port in the house as I don't trust WiFi especially for security devices. I will definitely be getting another one (or two!)

Arrived on time and good customer service e mail prior to this review.i wanted a basic wifi web cam and this dose the job ,but pan and and tilt has a terable lag picture not bad I am happy with this. the power cable very short so have no idea where they assume customer will locate webcam as has to be close to a socket so extending cable a must if a useful location required .so at the price ok and I will probably buy another let's hope it fault free over time.

£16 bargain on a lightning deal, easy setup took minutes, picture quality great, the pan and tilt option is very slow to respond though make it very frustrating, although it does work just slowly. Would i recommend it...yes i would for this price. what else can you buy for £16 that can do this from anywhere in the world. simply fab.

Camera itself was okay but the online storage ie. The 15 days trial was already out of date on registration and looking at it seems somewhat expensive.

I really like this easy to set up very mjnorr delaynouc not bad at all suitable for use and it talks to you which is a bit creepy if unexpected lol.Comes with little disc and screws to attach to ceiling wall etc

I want to take the time and explain just how this camera is going to work, i purchased this with the intention of just using this with the SDcard no rip off subscription service. The camera itself is ok just night vision is terrible though, the real issues lie in its usability without the subscription the way it saves clips to sd card is terrible first of all it saves it in v264 format which you will need a seperate player to view and some tinkering of said player or you could download their own player which comes in RAR format so you will need another program to open that just to install then it seems to be unable to save fluid video to card large parts are missing that i need and its only retreivable by using their website with subscription. There has to be bettter options out there im really unhappy with this oh and another thing potential buyers should be wary of the phone app ( wich you have to install to set up the camera) needs some really invasive permissions eg the ability to see whos calling me and phone call information. Thats just dodgy and theres a long list of these permissions be sure you know what you are allowing it to do! Im now going to ask for a refund so i can buy a better camera my advice to you would be the same BUY A DIFFERENT CAMERA

Very happy with this item.... great quality image... you'll need to split your router bands as this runs on 2.4ghz but other than that its great. As this is an indoor cam you won't be able to point it out of a window (over a driveway for example to watch your cars at night) while night vision is on as the reflected infrared light just gets bounced back into the lense and blinds the camera, but fine to watch a room. The only drawback is I am now addicted to reviewing my footage or watching the live feed on my phone... and you will be too LOL.
