Xpand Lacing System (Patent Pending) is truly one of a kind. Brought to life through a Crowdfunding campaign supported by 35,000 people! The Xpand No Tie Elastic Lacing System utilizes our zero memory flat elastic shoelaces allowing you to convert almost any shoe or boot into a fully adjustable no tie slip-on. You can install the Lace Anchors on the inside of the shoe for a hidden look or you can install them on the outside of the shoe and use our Lace End Clips for a professional finished look. The Xpand Lacing System includes (2) 52" Xpand Laces which expand to over 100", 4 Lace Anchors to secure your laces and 4 Lace End Clips to give your laces a finished look when mounting on the outside of the shoe. Our patent pending Lace Anchors secure the laces in place while remaining adjustable. Once you install the tension to your liking, you simply slip your shoes on and off without any further adjustments. Our no tie shoelaces are perfect for runners and triathletes, hikers, bikers, kids, elderly, handicap, people with feet that swell, individuals lacking fine motor skills and anyone else that has trouble with standard shoelaces. Our system will get the whole family out the door in 3 seconds flat! Our system requires no adjustments or hard bulky clamps to squeeze like other systems on the market, simply slip on and go. Review: A must have for anyone who's autistic! - These are way better than Leazy shoelaces. These fit into any eyelet, there's plenty of it (But it would be great if Xpand made one's that are twice the length for taller boots/shoes), there's plenty of reflective thread, and they're much more comfortable and way less oversensitising. You have the option to use them as normal shoelaces or no-tie shoelaces. I have D-rings on one of my boots instead of eyelets and I just put the smaller stoppers on the ends of the shoelaces to prevent them from coming undone when I'm putting the boots on (They have zips on the sides), and then use them as normal shoelaces (but they have a lot of grip against itself so it doesn't really come undone if fairly tight which I also love about these shoelaces). For another pair of shoes it has eyelets at the bottom and are open zig-zag top so I just threaded the shoelaces through the eyelets and left the top open as I can't keep them in place as it's all open, and didn't put any stoppers on them because it's useless to. And for other pairs that only have eyelets I'm might attach stoppers and hide the rest of the shoelaces under the shoe because I'm afraid that if I cut them they're going to fray, but most likely I'm going to do the same thing as I did for the D-ring boots. Review: Lifesavers for children with dyspraxia - Lifesavers for children with dyspraxia. My son struggles with laces and although he can now tie, the ease of use here ensures he can always move quickly. Wouldn't be without these, I even have some on my vans, and they just make the shoes look so much better

Working as expected
These are pretty nice and seem to work as expected. Take their advice and do not cut the laces before you try them out. I had to loosen mine just a bit and was glad to have left the extra length in the lace to be able to do it. After the first wear and adjustment on a couple of shoes they fit well. They are easy enough to get the shoes on and off, and feel snug as if I had tied the shoes. Again, this takes trial, wear, and adjustment, but gets right after a short time. Note that these are not good on high-top shoes or boots. I also do not like the exposed ends and so have some issue with one pair of shoes that has external metal loops, buy I made them worked tucked under and hidden, like the rest of my shoes.

Great
These help my son who struggles with his fine motor skills & muscle weakness in his hands. It makes it easier for him to not have to worry about doing his laces. Length and quality are very good. Easy to lace up too.

Too wasteful
These shoelaces are very expensive. The length of the laces are such that they will fit footwear with a lot of lace holes, highish boots for example. The fact that they can be cut to length is great but part of the advertised remit is that they are suitable for the elderly and most elderly do not wear high boots but conventional shoes. I wanted these laces for shoes with just three pairs of lace holes, in the pack were enough ‘anchors’ for one pair of shoes therefore I would have had a lot of the elastic shoelace over. It would be much more sensible to either include more ‘anchors’ In the pack (they must cost a very small amount to manufacture) or sell separate packs of these tiny components therefore allowing us to use all of the shoelaces we have purchased. I feel so unhappy regarding the sheer waste that would have resulted I returned the pack.

Got it all tied up!
simple solution to a problem, Ok not everyone has this problem, but I do....I'm a little rotund...chubby! plus I have an Old back injury that does make it tricky to tie shoe laces, not impossible but uncomfortable! These laces are great...simple to put in shoes...simple but effective locking system but everything works! no loose laces anymore, they look good in my adidas gazelle, no slip at all! I thought I'd give them a go and now I'm looking to change all my laced trainers to this system!

Game changer - especially if you put on/off trainers constantly due to Wudu/prayers etc
I have old trainers and the laces where semi stretchy but because they were getting worn out, I needed to replace them - probably the trainers as well but I still like to wear them. Now with these stretchy laces I never have to do them up and I can literally rip them off and slide them on in 5 secs. Amazing if your constantly taking off trainers for Salah and whatever else.

Expensive but effective
Initially I was somewhat disappointed to get lengths of elastic I could buy much more cheaply elsewhere and the eight tiny plastic fasteners provided can’t be expensive to make… But, they work and my feet are grateful. Other elastic shoelaces come as round rather than ribbon. I haven’t cut the laces short. They have plastic lace finishers at each end and I prefer the tied look for now. Also I might want to adjust the tension in future. The instructions on Amazon are MUCH clearer than on the packet, especially for the clips designed for outer use rather than hidden. Cream would have been better but I only had the option of black or white at the time of buying.

Amazing product perfect not only for people that don't want to have to tie their shoes but also those that don't know how to tie their shoes yet. The hideaway latch system is perfect for getting just the right snugness and prevents the laces from coming undone. My twins just started kindergarten and these laces were perfect for them and allowed us to use normal sneakers instead of being limited to those velco strap ones. So easy to use that I'll be picking up another set for myself. Customer service was great and the arrived super quick. Overall very happy.

These are fun. They look great with my white tennis shoes. I watched a video from the manufacturer to learn how to install them. They come very long and can be cut to size. It is advised to wear for a bit before cutting the laces. They are stretchy and best of all no need to tie shoelaces.
