Solid build, fits in my bag for going out to the woods building bike jumps. Not too small, very useful.

Unfortunately mine has broken after less than a year’s occasional use

Excellent spade, very well made, high quality and good materials. The carry pouch is also sturdy and strong.Honestly though I'm not sure the weight justifies it for most camping trips. You'd need to be doing some serious digging before it becomes worth carrying this any distance at all.

Bought this instead of buying plastic shovels at the beach every time we go. And the plastic ones usually break by the end of the day. It unfolds. And there’s a couple of screws to screw it tight together. When you finish undo the screws. The screws stay attached to the shovel but you can fold it away. Put it in the bag it came with. And it easily fits in your backpack

I am very happy with my purchase next day delivery and is of a high quality well made I have looked at many other manufacturers read loads of reviews and made a decision on this one from red camp. as I could see in the pictures that the shovel had a curved foot plate which is so much easier to use with softer footwear. I've used one from a different manufacturers in the past and I'm very glad that I've brought this one. it is a good quality well made robust product. haven't had a chance to use it yet.But I can see that it's going to last me a long time. and comes with a pouch so that you can fix it onto a belt if you decide to use it like that. I will be using the shovel. for when I go fishing camping and hiking. If you are looking to buy one like I have. and you are reading this review I highly recommend this red camp shovel. I'm glad that I made this purchase it's a big 👍up from me.

Excellent for travel.

Purchased to keep under the car seat for bad weather / snow. Its a neat little shovel, folds up and is really compact in its little pouche. I'll probably never use it but I like to have it just in case. Its well made, good value and not expensive for what it is.
