This folder has been exceptional so far. I am a Sixth Former who regularly uses folders and lever arch files, however so far most of them have broken or the hinge mechanism have misaligned, making it a misery to hold documents.However, I have never been so impressed by a lever arch file before, not only has it withstood the hell that is my rucksack, it has also survived me holding the folder with one hand, open and with a huge 400 page pad inside of it. Pretty strong stuff.The mechanism that holds the clasp down (the lever) has a nice rubberised tip making it easy to use and it also seems to exert good pressure despite having this for many months.I highly recommend this folder for anybody who depends on lever arch files to store their work and constantly has to access them and reorganise.

Arrived quickly Lovely colours, nice material, feel very sturdy and plenty big enough for all my biology work! Better than any others I’ve had! Would definitely buy again if I needed more.

I purchased three of these files in order to insure I had a safe place to store and conveniently view my Biology,Chemistry and physic modules.The largest of the modules was around 500 (A4) pages long and easily fit inside this file!The file itself has a textured finish which helps with the grip and unlike my previous file the covers are hard-wearing and won't easily bend or tear!The lever is sturdy and unlike the poorer quality files the lever grip is rubber instead of plastic.The mechanism is made of high quality parts and is lubricated very well.The name tag sleeve is a nice touch and combined with the textured covers,rubber lever grip and good quality parts this file was made with, it really does look like a premium and feels much more expensive than the £3.75 it actually cost!Would definitely recommend this file to anyone who needs a good quality file with loads of space and most importantly needs it to be cost effective!

I'm doing attorney work handling a relative's affairs and I suddenly needed loads of ring-binders. Though I've used ring-binders aplenty over the decades I was pleased to find this make and the wide range of colours which is handy for colour-coding for subject matter.I several different colours, some 50mm and some 70mm. All the colours bought are true to the colours shown in the advert photos. I bought 5 x Blue 50mm, 2 x Blue 70mm, 4 x Burgundy 50mm, 1 x Green 50mm, 1 x Black 70mm, and will probably buy more. The Blue is good for bank paperwork as it matches the bank's logo colour (hubby said "how to make a colour look more evil"). The Black looks sleek and very businesslike, which I got to take to meetings - I don't look impressive but my File does!Pretty sturdy too, and they're nice to handle. Good value as, despite the price, they feel like good quality.May I suggest a few tips? -Tip 1: if you have lots of pages stapled together, the stapled corners bulk up and won't lie flat, so you can't get as much paper in the folder as you expect. If in doubt, get the 70mm rather than the 50mm as it can make a difference in terms of easily turning the pages (assuming you have the storage space) and the spine's label is consequently larger so you can write more on it.Tip 2: There is enough space to take a self-adhesive transparent A4 filing pocket to go on the inside of the front cover to hold, say a crib sheet such as frequently used addresses or reference numbers. The space allowed for that is exactly the right amount, as if made for it. I use Amazon ref. Really good value lever arch files, arrived in a cardboard box wih no padding or cushioning. One corner of one of my files was damaged, but still usable. The quality of the files is excellent - as good, if not better than other brands from well known high street shops. There is a textured plastic covering which makes these files look and feel more expensive than they really are. Just one other (small) issue I had, there was one file (the white one) which had a manufacturing defect on the metal where the rings of the binder can not be squeezed through the small opening. In effect, I cannot close this binder, as the metal is in the way due to the metal being clamped on the wrong way round. Difficult to show on a photo, but I've included a picture of the white and beige folders together so you have an idea. Overall, very happy with my purchase. Just loses one star due to the defect/damamge.
