Villeroy & Boch Octavie 206 mm Water Goblet

Sadly not in presentation box as it was bought as a gift to accompany a bottle of brandy. However it is a good make and it will be well received. Delivery was prompt but not very well packaged, I'm surprised it arrived in one piece! But it did and I'm grateful for that.

I just love this design, it is so elegant and was delighted to be able to replace 2 broken ones as I believe the design has been discontinued. The water goblet makes an excellent red wine glass as there is more room for the wine to breathe. The rather badly packed parcel covered in parcel tape arrived earlier than predicted one glass was broken. I contacted China chaps and a charming helpful young lady offered to replace the glass, I mentioned that the packing was very poor. The parcel arrived next day and the contrast in the packing was unbelievable, really professional and the glass arrived safely.

I was very pleasantly surprised!I have many other dishes and glassware from Villeroy & Boch as I used to live in Luxembourg where they have their original home factory, and these by far are the nicest wine glasses I’ve ever seen them produce! Unfortunately for my bank account, I’m going to start a new collection of this range because I collect wine glasses and these are by far the nicest for the price! I would advise buying the red wine glasses, even if you drink white with them as they’re a bit bigger, so you get more glassware for your money… I would also buy a few as a great gift for your anniversary to your partner or Valentine’s Day ! Great gift! I’d had love getting these as a surprise gift!

This is a lovely glass. Modern with a classic touch. Not the sort of thing you'd normally buy for yourself at that price but I bought it as a gift. With that in mind, I was very disappointed that it arrived unboxed, wrapped in a piece of bubble wrap. For the price I think this was very poor presentation.

The glass is well balanced, interesting design and made an excellent christmas present as it take a 330ml can.

Excellent service, very fast delivery. Glass is really lovely and did arrive safe despite not being in a box. This would definitely make it more 'giftable'.

Quite a nice glass; well made and sits fairly well in hand, although its not overly well balanced. Packaging was fairly poor considering price.

I love this manufacture due to their invocations in their production line. These scotch glasses are very nice and great quality. I wish there was more in Amazon inventory.

Was replacing part of a set of stemware. Quality was not the same as the original set. And was not nearly as good.

Dommage qu il ni ait plus la série Montauk qui est nettement mieux. Sinon rien à dire.
