Beautiful fabric but frays easily.
This fabric is vibrantly beautiful. Be aware that it does fray easily. I use tissue paper under it when I’m sewing to help reduce fraying.

Thin, but great on a budget
I used this fabric for a Cinderella cosplay and while it is fairly thin and fragile, you can't really beat it for the price. Be aware that it WILL shred if you don't finish every edge before washing. It irons well, cuts and sews easily, and isn't too shiny for what is ultimately costume satin.

Gorgeous fabric. Easy to work with.
Made myself a sleeveless dress with a sash and a wrap using this gorgeous fabric. I love the subtle “print” in the weave. Very elegant and royal. I added a gold trim for extra bing bang boom elegance.

This fabric ravels like crazy!
It's a beautiful fabric, but I have never seen a fabric ravel so badly. It leaves a lot of threads. I tried using pinking shears and that helped a little, but it keeps shedding, like a dog or something. Very disappointed.

Mediocre quality limits it's uses but very pretty fabric
I loved the design on this jacquard, swirls instead of flowers, and the fabric is very pretty to look at, deep black one side, dark charcoal and black the other side. It had a very stiff handle out of the packet, but when washed (delicate cycle) became very soft and supple and didn't crease easily.Unfortunately it still has quite a plasticky feel to it and when cutting, serging, and sewing, it frayed badly. It can only be cut with a rotary cutter. I used it for a costume cape lining, so it only had to survive a couple of weeks of shows. I would not trust this for garment use for anything longer, I suspect it won't hold up to repeat use as costume, but the pattern and price were right for this time round. It would be okay for drapes that aren't moved, with an appropriate seam finish.
