Versatile, sturdy and comfortable.
I use this for semi precious gemstone mining specifically chalcedony. There is a lot of digging and prying and scratching involved this pick is ideal for that. incredibly sturdy and exactly the right size to also use in small tunnels. Considering the gemstones this pick has helped me dig out and the quality of the tool I think the price is good. Since i can work with it all day without tiring i consider it to be very light and the grip fits my hand very well.

Awesome hammer!
This thing is freaking awesome! My new favorite hammer! Donโt know how I got along as a geologist without this hammer! Loving the spike on it, loving the built-in magnets!

I only wish I had one years ago!
This tool is perfect for field work. The chisel end, and pick-end combo is perfect for opening up a crevice, or picking through rough stuff. The Magnets, and I-beam handle with a two-handed grip make this pick a dream to use.As a prospector, this is my first choice.

Top of the line
Rugged and lightweight. Perfect for a day of rock hunting when you need something more than a hand pick.

Good but heavy
It's a great pick but it is very heavy for its utility for back country prospecting. I bought one and I use it mainly to trim specimens at home now.
