I used this to bond white pea gravel around a tree in the garden and it stops the gravel getting knocked onto the grass, it has went a tinge of yellow after approx 8 months

This is the product I never knew I needed in my life. I was wondering what I was going to do with my concrete floor in order to lay vinyl flooring. The floor was dusty and rough to the touch. I put the first coat and within 15mins it was getting tacky and a bit dry. An hour later I came in with a second coat and let me just say wow my flooring changed from rough to glass smooth. it was like a miracle occurring in my face. Brushing the floor was amazing. The brush just glides and the dust is all gone. Since I couldn't lay my peel and stick yesterday, I decided to put another coat this morning and lay my floor after couple of hours. The sbr is tacky enough when dry but still allows people to walk on it. Fluff doesn't stick to it even though its tacky. This stuff is also suitable for those with a garage or basement and they don't plan to put anything else like carpet, wooden flooring or vinyl. I mixed 1 part to 3 parts water and I only used a small amount so this will go a long way. The bottle size and amount is good for the money. For someone who intends to only do a room or two I'm sure a 1ltr bottle is more than enough. It's milky and in liquid form so it's quite runny and not thick. I wore gloves and used a random cleaning brush to brush it on the floor and I think for concrete floor, thats the best way than using paint rollers. The brush also removes left over debris while applying the sbr. It rubs on very quickly and smooth and we will wait to see the durability of the sbr over time.

I used Sika Bond SBR+ for a DIY project, and it worked really well. It made the cement mix stronger and easier to apply. The consistency was great, and it helped stop the mix from cracking when it dried. Even though I’m not a professional, I found it really simple to use. Just follow the instructions, and it does exactly what it’s supposed to. It also improved how well the cement stuck to surfaces, which was really helpful. Overall, it’s a great product for anyone working with mortar or concrete. Definitely recommend!

Great sbr. Goes a long way and much cheaper here than screwfix

This is a fabulous product. I had a big job to do to repair a failing render. Used this to prime masonry and also at every stage of cement render and patching instead of lime. Adds a velvet texture with great adhesion and makes mixture more easy to spread. Really glad I tried it!
