Great for lacemaking!
Although this is advertised as a model maker's tool, I find it excellent for pricking out laminated bobbin lace patterns. It is more comfortable in the hand than it looks, and will hold the finest needle. It is easily adjusted for size and length of needle.

Accurate, good action on the jaws.
The pin vice's jaws close all the way, making it useful for bits with very small shaft diameters. I've had other pin vices that do not grip 0.8 diameter bits. This one does, very securely. The pin vice is hollow all the way through, so the bit can be removed by loosening the jaws and letting it slide out the back. It's a bit pricey, but well made so it's worth it.
