Wind-up Train: A Book and Toy set with a Steam Train Adventure Through Cities, Mountains, and Rivers, and a Visit to a Train Museum

Given as a present to an active 2 yr old. Concept is brilliant, and from a Parental point, the fact you can pack it all away easily is a bonus. Like all 'new' things it was played with immediately, but moved on to other things, but the initial interest was spot on.

Book in good quality and the train works well on the tracks. Very entertaining! The wind up stick was a little bent when it arrived though but doesnt affect use

This is one of the best gifts you can give a kid. The book is brilliant and they can play for hours and you can also connect it to other books. One of those toys that will last forever.

Got this for my nephew who is 3. He loves trains. This is a wonderful book, you can do the individual double spread tracks in the book, handy for if on your lap but if you have more space you can take them all out and make a huge track. Great fun for kids and adults alike, some useful interesting facts about the trains in the pictures which is handy when kids ask questions they expect you to know everything about!

I bought this for my almost 2 year old for Christmas after coming across it by chance and it has been a real hit with both him and his 3 year old brother. It's a shame that it's quite tricky to use the train on the actual pages as if they don't lie flat then the train can't handle the track so mostly we take the pages out and make the giant track which is great fun. The spine did break on the first use as the pages are quite heavy but doesn't affect our overall enjoyment.

My great nephew absolutely loves it and of all the birthday presents this was the one he played with most. Hours of entertainment

This book is so cool! I found out about this company a year ago when a family friend had one of their books and my son fell in love with it. My son loves trains so this was one of his gifts this year for Christmas. It comes with the wind-up train, as well as having 4 grooved different tracks inside the book that the train can drive along. You are also able to remove the track from the book. It’s a cool toy and an easy toy to take on the go.
