This bed is super ideal for my toddler who’s about to switch to his own big boy bed! It’s sturdy and has high enough fencing to keep him from falling off in the night! I got a 6 inch mattress for it and attached an image with it in the frame so you can see the height.Now, I am 6 months pregnant currently and had no problem putting this together by myself in about an hour or two. The instructions are decently easy to follow, the only thing is that you do have to have your own screwdriver for putting on the door and attaching the slats at the bottom.The bed does say max weight limit is 250 pounds and I would say it’s pretty sturdy. My son obviously walks and jumps on it with no issue, but I was also able to stand on the mattress and get into the bed with it still feeling pretty secure too.

Wood was sturdy and the color was perfect! Super easy to put together! We purchased a six inch mattress and it’s perfect!

Cute and exactly what I was looking for. I liked that this had slats so the mattress isn’t directly on the floor. One of the slats was cracked so I deducted a star but should be easy to replace if it causes issues. My mattress may be a little high for the frame but I’m confident it will still keep my toddler from falling out.

My 1 year old absolutely hated her crib and refused to sleep in it, when I changed her to this Montessori style floor bed she’s been much happier. She will sleep through the night in it and I love the added comfort knowing she won’t roll off the bed. This was an affordable option for us and is pretty good quality considering the price. Perfect for the independent toddler.

I waited a couple of months before I decided to write this review. I purchased it for my toddlers and so far they like it. It was easy to build and put together. The only negative thing is that the slat supports are flimsy. They are also very loud and it’s annoying when you’re trying to sneak away from your babies. Sometimes they wake up, sometimes I’m lucky. I do recommend this though for anyone looking to get a floor bed.

I attached pictures to show the gap of the queen bed frame. We wanted to put our 2 year old in a big bed with the wood frame and just leave the gate off so he could come and go without hurting himself. The gap is big enough to where he could potentially get stuck. The smell of the product was STRONG. As soon as I opened the box I was thinking how toxic the smell was. I had to open my son’s window to air out the room. After 2 days I decided the chemical smell was too strong and did not want my toddler sleeping with that product. I later did research on the smell and turns out it’s formaldehyde. On the box it even says phase 2 formaldehyde. I think the product we had was definitely unsafe to be around. And the color seemed to be more of a yellow. I’m sorry to leave a low review, but I want others to be aware of the product they could potentially get.

The media could not be loaded.  My 2year old doesn’t want her crib and only sleep in our bed until I found this bed. She loves it right away as she can open and get to the bed herself. The bed is on the floor which give me a sense of assurance as she can’t fall off. It’s plenty of room (I got full size). Highly recommended the bed. Tips: choose a memory foam mattress would be better than a spring box mattress
