Simple and big enough for a mid sized dog, we had a husky and it fit fine.

Needed a new dog house for winter this year and settled on this one. But as it comes its just plastic floor and walls basically, not insuated or warm in any way. I painted it a different color, and lined the inside walls and floor with adhesive backed foam squares for insulation and padding and added her blanket over the foam floor. Once built it is very sturdy and I love the 2 stakes that allows it to be secured in the ground, I don't believe it will be going anywhere. The raised base is excellent for being sure rain doesn't rise high enough to get inside. I have a 40lb husky and she fits the large size house perfectly. Came with a couple extra screws in both sizes and extra cap for covering a roof screw. I have no complaints and now its just to wait and see how long it holds up to the weather although it feels like it'll do a few years. Overall a very decent home for my dog this winter.

I purchased this house for my Staffordshire terrier. She’s 41 pounds, but she’s pretty. You can see in the pic that it works for her. I’m not sure how it would work for really large dogs. It isn’t insulated and with no door, it protects from some but not all rain. As far as assembly goes, the walls are flimsy so it takes a little work to put it together. It took me about 30 minutes. It went much faster when I put the second one together by having someone hold the wall in place. Overall, I’d say it’s good but not great.

Is not sized for an adult large dog. My American Pit Bull head wouldn’t fit, so he couldn’t get in to turn around. Was going to send back, but was able to sale.

Nice house. My Husky thinks it's all his.. my other dogs all take turns. Large enough for 1 of them at a time. The recommended plastic strips for a door do not fit properly and do not keep wind or rain out.Over all good product.

First off, it was easy to assemble. The walls are flimsy so it takes a bit to line things up but with moderate skills in assembly it should go together fairly quickly. It took about a half hour start to finish. This is definitely not insulated! It will keep the wind and rain out (except what comes in through the dog door) and that's about it. It was not built for warmth. The walls are very thin but once assembled it should hold its structure if nothing is beating on it. Most of the negative reviews were due to its size. The inside floor once it is assembled (for the largest 39" version!) is a little over a 33" x 33" square. It is a comfortable size for my 65 lb German Shepherd. You will most likely need to make a custom bed for it since it doesn't come with any type of comfort lining for the floor. I gave it 3 stars because it will do the job, it assembles and un-assembles quickly and is what I expected for the relatively low price compared to other dog houses. I took two stars off for false advertising on it being insulated. Even though I knew from other reviews it wasn't insulated before I bought it, I'm not a big fan of companies lying to sell their products.

I actually got this house for my geese--although they are waterfowl, as soon as it starts to rain, they are sure they will drown! The house was fairly easy for one person to assemble and has a raised floor, which is perfect. It's all hard plastic and not terribly heavy, so I can hose it out an infinite number of times and it won't rot away like wood eventually will. And the large size is perfect for the four of them with a some straw for bedding. I don't think it will withstand a lot of manhandling, but would you really? Happy goose children!

I like this house cause it has lots of room for my outside cat who is a large cat
