Reads fast writes slow. Don't panic.
It is small and handy between phone or tablet android based. It does not claim to write faster than usb 2.0. It reads much faster. I see some folks got defective physical C usb connector. The 3 I have are not defective. I made Acronis rescue media and restored 40gb to my bitlocked laptop. I am happy with how fast it restored. I did have one device that windows 11 had trouble formatting to ntfs. That sort of scared me but it did format fine in another laptop. If the build issue still exists I don't see it any I have. Everything about it is in written form on the back. Maybe there are faster write speeds but not with the phone usb C support. This a unique product. Based on current 3.2 USB but that only means you can plug it to something 3.2 there aren't claims to support optimal 3.2 transfer speeds. I could not find another small device like this to go between machines with differing physical connections. I'm only worried about the one that was tricky to format.

Don't buy this. It has a connector design issue on the USB C side.
PNY is usually a quality brand so I was surprised when I discovered that the USB C connector was designed too short so that it won't connect and actually just falls out of the USB C slot. I initiated a return soon after receiving this flash memory key. Very disappointed with this design issue.

Performances décevantes !!
La clé a été remplie à partir d'un PC sous Windows puis a été utilisée sous Windows et Android.Le fonctionnement semble fiable (quoique peu d'essais ; voir suite). La vitesse en lecture et en écriture est ++abominablement lente++, empêchant toute autre utilisation que pour l'archivage !!Exemple : durée de la reconnaissance de la clé sur une tablette Xiaomi Redmi Pad 6, entr l'intertion de la clé et l'affichage du contenu du dossier principal : 40 secondes ! Comparaison : clé Kingston, mêmes types de connexions, même capacité, même contenu : 11 secondes.La clé a été reformatée en exFat sous Windows comme lors de sa livraison et a été regarnie, sans changer les durées
