This isn't a 'how to' book at all. The only instructions involve design transfer. It isn't a book at all suitable as an intro for beginners like I hoped. However the designs are beautiful.

I bought this book for my son as a Christmas present to go with the new updated woodburning kit I bought him. He has been doing lots of woodburning projects since Christmas and loves the book a lot.

So disappointed! Everyone has their different likes and levels. Honestly this book really didn't have anything that I can use. Maybe I am more advanced but I was hoping to gain some ideas if not some patterns. One page has different types of fish and another mushrooms. Not that I don't like mushrooms, but there was really no continuity. Some sketches were very simplistic, I bought this book on other recommends. My thoughts here are, if you are interested in this book, check it out of the library first to see if it is for you or try the Lora Irish, Sue Walters books.

Great book of ideas for pyrography. Daughter in law having so much fun with this book as a resource for pyrography burning on wood.
