Great, Simple Recipes
Got this book after doing the 21-Day Vegan Challenge, and appreciated how simple and tasty the recipes were. Great way to 'reset' your palate from super salty/sweet foods. Have tried a handful of recipes, I always love pulling a couple per week.

Such a great cookbook. I'm a big fan of Dreena Burton's recipes and these are fantastic as usual. The first three chapters are very concise and provide valuable up to date information from Dr. Barnard that you can arm yourself with when people question your eating choices. The recipes are delicious. We tried the "scuffins" this morning and my whole family loved them. The recipes do take time to prepare but that is part of eating whole, unprocessed foods. It's worth investing the time for better health. Definitely pick up this book and Dreena's other cookbook Let Them Eat Vegan. It's my favorite.

Good recipes, small print
Lots of yummy sounding recipes. Mostly easy to find ingredients. I took a point off for the small print! When fractions are used in ingredients and the nutritional facts are very hard to read because they're so tiny.

This cookbook provides plenty recipes easy to follow through and the food taste awesome. The picture are in one spot in the book with the site page associated with the recipes. The Book gives you very helpful information why or why you should not consume certain food items I really enjoy this Cookbook it has many recipes in it with pictures in a different location in this book and plenty of very useful information and if you really want to get your condition under control this book is your best your very best friend

Maybe too much oil
I love the variety and sophistication of the recipes offered in Dr Barnard's cookbook but was surprised at the addition of salt and oil in the recipes. Of course no need to add those ingredients however I am really looking for ways to supplement those two ingredients and still provide lots of flavor! That is an open need right now for those of us trying to become super healthful with our diets.

Whole Food Plant Based recipes that truly flavorful!
Our family is a Whole Food Plant Based family. I am married to a family physician who teaches his patients about this life saving eating lifestyle. We are always on the lookout for GOOD recipes to share with patients. Dreena Burton has done a fantastic job creating recipes for this cookbook for Dr Barnard. I have tried a number of these recipes. This is a 5 star choice. (Plant Based Families is also an excellent choice) This cookbook however is better for those who are avoiding oils that are not in their original packaging ( i.e. choosing to eat olives in preference to olive oil or whole nuts instead of nut oils.) The recipes I have tried and really enjoyed are: Lentil Minestrone - sturdy stew-like. Pizza, Pizza - delicious; Orange Tofu - easy and fabulous with the Coconut Rice and Broiled Asparagus; Rad Thai! - over the top good. I used Barilla thin spaghetti with it. Soft-Baked Tamari Tofu - YES; - I press it first in a press, dice into 1/2" cubes and toss in the tamari. Jamaican Stew - great! I used sweet potatoes instead of plantain. The Thai Corn and Sweet Potato Stew is fantastic. I served it with brown rice on the side. If I double it I will use 1/2 tofu and 1/2 black beans. Twice the tofu would be too much and the beans would add to it already amazing rainbow of colors. Wow.

Excellent cookbook for diabetics
THis book is full of amazing recipes that are super delicious and easy to make! I have made most of the recipes in here and there are always great suggestions on how you can adapt and modify some of the ingredients depending on what food you have available and to your liking. I havent had one recipe that didnt deliver on taste and overall delicousness! a must have.

Instant Pot Recipes
I bought this book to get plant based instant pot recipes. Not as many as I’d hoped for but I’ve learn’t to make many in the instant pot. Great recipes that are fairly easy to make.
