Maverick ET733 Genuine Replacement 6 Foot Food Probe

I have bought other probes, and they all seem to burn out if they get too hot. Maverick's probes are more tolerant to high heat. The last one I had lasted two years, and I BBQ about 2-3 times a week. I emailed the company inquiring about compatible probes for a Char Griller, and they got right back with a suggestion.

This probe works MUCH better than the stock probe! It also has a curve before the cord which makes it easier to push into meat.Cord doesn't kink as easily as the stock probe. I couldn't get the stock probe to work right and according to other reviewers, the problem was the probe. They were RIGHT! My ET-733 works like a charm now!!

I was a bit paranoid about the probes after reading the reviews on the Maverick 773 so I ordered a second set. I haven't needed them but i am glad I ordered them because the 3 foot probes are a bit short for me. No problems as of yet and I am happy with my purchase. UPDATE... the 6 footers no longer work. Ver frustrating, but the originals are still going strong.

Worked as expected with my BGE temp monitor. Checked accuracy with food thermometer and it was spot on!

Even though this sensor was supposed to fit my Redi-Chek sender, it was a bit loose when plugged-in. When I used it on my grill, I would often get random erroneous reading , like maybe a HHH reading (too high to read), or maybe 124* when it was placed on the grates.All in all, a worthless item. No return policy, so I'm stuck with it. It's going in the trash.

I got an error on my wireless unit and this fixed the issue - no need to buy a new unit. Works perfectly with my remote transmitter.

this is the best replacement probe I've been able to find for the et-732 & et-733. I love the hybrid tip that can pierce the food but also can dual as the grill probe. not only that, it has a 90 degree bend at the end of the probe that's great for leverage when you push the probe into less done cuts of meat. highly recommended!

This probe looked good but did not want to fit either jack on our ET733. We compared it to the two probes that came with the unit and discovered that the round, plastic portion of the original plugs fit snugly into the silicone opening covering each of the jacks on the ET733. On this replacement probe the round, plastic portion of the plug was just too large to fit into the hole and the plug kept being forced out by the silicone that was being flattened by pushing the plug into the jack.My husband used a digital caliper to compare the three probes and found that the round portions of the original jacks were both 6.14 mm. The round portion on the replacement probe measured 6.39 mm. Rather than send it back I used an emery board to sand down the round portion of the plug until it would fit snugly. No more popping out of the jack and all is well now.
