Fun, educational activity
This is a great puzzle for children to learn the layout of the U.S. Pieces are easy to maneuver and put together. The only feature I wish it contained is actual interlocking pieces so the puzzle would stay together, unfortunately it doesn't, so if some pieces move, others do as well. But, other than that, it's a great puzzle.

Love that the pieces are shaped like states!
After reading some reviews saying they didn’t like how the puzzle didn’t snap together I thought about returning this puzzle. I am so glad I didn’t!! I love that the pieces are shaped like states. Once you put together the outside of the puzzle the states fit perfectly into place, and it is so fun having the pieces shaped like states! I have even learned quite a bit about the shape of states from this puzzle :-) And the illustrations and colors are so great, they make me happy while I’m putting the puzzle together—and they teach you something about each state. I would definitely recommend this puzzle, it is great quality. Each piece has a nice feel to it too, not a cheap shiny feel, but a good matte finish. I am confident this puzzle will last a long time. I want to buy more from Mudpuppy now that we have this puzzle.

Fun & High Quality Map Puzzle
We love map puzzles and have lots of them. We have this one of Asia and the one of Europe by Mudpuppy, and they are both really high quality. The colors, illustrations, and country-piece shapes are very well designed. My strongest recommendation.

Bought for myself, to help learn geography of Europe!
I'm in my 60s, and I bought this for myself. I've always had trouble getting my bearings of how the European countries fit together, and that impedes my understanding of news stories, etc.I've just now put it together for the first time. To challenge myself, I did Not look at the picture while assembling. It was rather hard for me; it wasn't obvious where the pieces would go!! But that was the point. This will be very helpful in FINALLY getting a handle on Europe!Size of pieces:- I think the smallest piece is Moldova, which is about 1 1/4 inches the long way. There are of course smaller countries than Moldova, but they are generally joined together with other countries to prevent the pieces from being too small.- Switzerland is about 1 3/8 inches wide.- Norway is about 7 3/8 inches long, and quite skinny, so a child would likely break it unless they are mature enough to be careful. The pieces are thick and high quality, but one would still have to be careful with Norway and some other pieces.

little difficult for little hands
Kind of hard to keep together as kids are working on it - also had a couple of warped pieces that won’t stay down flat. Great idea and concept, just needs some tweaking.

My 3 Year Old Knows His States Now
After having this puzzle for a couple of weeks, my three year old son is now able to assemble it by himself. He knows the shapes of all the states, and knows where each one of them goes on the map. Please note that my son absolutely loves puzzles. He'll spend hours each day doing them, and re-doing them. This is a very fun activity and educational. The pieces hold up well and are very durable. Each state shows the capital and also includes the nickname of each state on the back as well.

Great Map Puzzles
My 3 and 5 year olds are very into maps and they love these puzzles. My 3 y.o. has the US puzzle and loves it. It is big enough that most states get their own piece, unlike most puzzles where New England is all stuck on one piece. My 5 y.o. loves the Europe puzzle. The pieces are sturdy and I think they will hold up well. The frame of these puzzles are standard jigsaw pieces and they fit together perfectly. The insides of the puzzles can be tricky because they don’t interlock (since they are shaped like states/countries), but that’s what my kids love about them. It’s a great way for them to see the relative sizes of different places and get really familiar with the unique shapes of those places.
