My go to ruler for small work!
Love it! I've owned one of these for a few years now and it's my go to ruler for small precision woodworking (building guitars). I use this guy for everything from depth measurement of fret slots to setting up my saws and checking the thicknesses of small wood stock. Fantastic! The Good:* Clearly marked mm and inches - I have other rulers where they tried to get fancy and subdivide the inches and mm and just made the ruler unreadable* 0 point starts at the edge of the ruler* Sturdy - thick enough to be durable and not easily bent, but still flexible enough you can manage a small curve if you want it.* Edges are nice and crisp and, with a mechanical pencil, make consistent lines* The width is perfect for fitting into small spaces. Including the pencil holder on my shop apronThe not so good:* The "depth clip" is pretty flimsy and easily comes off when sliding the ruler into and out of my pocket. I pretty much lost it right away. If you're specifically looking for this feature don't bother. Or at least be prepared to baby the clip.* Not a perfect straight edge. If you need a high precision straight edge, this ruler isn't the best. That said, it's also good enough for most of my needs. Unless you're doing high tolerance work you'll probably never notice.* Tends to bow. Keeping the ruler completely flat isn't going to happen as you use it over time. It tends to get flexed in your pocket, and as you use it. It will eventually take on some bow.

Love it!
It's the perfect size, shape, and multipurpose tool for most jobs. The pocket clip gets in the way sometimes, but it is removable and adjustable to use it in multiple ways as well.

used for military uniform inspections and worked great, especially to slide behind the ribbon rack, very this and more accurate placement.

Just what I wanted
Pocket sized, mm and inches, and the zero point is at the end of the ruler. That's an absolute must for my applications, including setting the distance between my table saw's blade and the fence. On some, that first increment between the end of the ruler and the marking can be a bit off - this one is dead on, to within the precision I need.-- wiredweird

Worked for my needs
It worked perfectly fine for my needs around the house. It is a little flimsy, though, so I respect the other reviewers' opinions when they say you might want something a bit more sturdy if you're using this for professional work. It might bend easily if you put it in your pocket or throw it in a bag.

I ordered two of these, since I always seem to misplace the one that I have. These will do what I want, although the clip is wobbly and worthless. The image clearly shows "Made in USA", however mine are made in India. I always make an effort to buy domestic, but it isn't worth my time to return these. Certainly worth a couple bucks.....
