Works fine. Despite image looking like original, which has gone missing, this one is a bit lighter in heft and small metal accents are instead light-color plastic. But does function as original, no fuss.

We moved and the movers lost our remote—this one worked right out of the package; no special programming needed. Couldn’t utilize the menu functions on my tv without a remote that had the “colored coded” buttons (store bought universal remotes did not have that feature), and this one allowed me to completely program my tv to skip channels, etc. Would definitely buy again!

My remote broke a long time ago and never bothered to fix it or get a new one until today when I switched fully to Netflix for my video pleasures. this remote works as advertised and so far after a month or two in, still works.

I bought this because it has the only reviews that work with my model TV : 47PFL5704D/F7IT DID NOT WORK. It doesn't even turn the TV on. If you are looking for a remote for this specific model TV I would consider looking elsewhere. Its odd that other reviews say it works with this model but mine didn't. Remote does not come with AAA batteries or an instruction manual and it can not be re programed either.

Yay a remote for my Philips tv (47PFL5704D/F7). Install 2 AAA batteries and it's ready for use.

Worked perfect on an old 47PFL5704D/F7 model. All the same functions as the old remote a dog chewed up. Volume, Channels, Source, Previous channel, picture mode, info, and menu all worked great.
