works well and it is not as loud as my previous ones
Light, small, somehow quiet but can accept two sources of energy; gasoline and propane gas. Very happy.

This Generator is complete garbage
In the time I have had this generator I was able to run it successfully for about 10 hours. Fuel stabilizer, running it dry prior to storage, trying to start it weekly, none of it worked. Every time I needed the generator to run it required moving it to the shop for a strip down and cleaning. The only thing this generator was capable of was creating frustration. It can not be counted on to be available for emergencies.

Generator died 10 days after purchasing But AI Resolved the Issue quickly
Bought it to power a mini fridge and 2 fans well below the 1800 watt rated power of the generator. Was a bit hard to start but worked ok for the 3.5 hrs of use every other day or so. On the 10th day the overload light came on even though nothing was plugged into the generator and off course no power was being generated.Called customer service and they said it may need a new inverter which they promised to send. Problem is I live outside of the US so I will have to absorb the shipping costs of around $100 on a brand new generator . Plus not 100% sure the replacement part will fix the problem. Really disappointedEdit *So I received the inverter part that should solve the problem. It did not. Still the overload light remains and no power is being generated. I have asked that the machine be replaced. Awaiting their response.Good news. Received a full refund from AI Power which was unexpected as I live in Jamaica. Customer service was good as I was emailed several times from Alfred and received a call from management. I have a friend in Jamaica who has the exact same model for several years without problem so it looks like the units are usually of good standard. Thanks AI.

Very nice unit for the money
This is a great buy for a compact dual fuel generator. I ran it for 28 hours straight right out of the box on LP Gas with no problem.Pros.Price Price Price... Great!Plenty of power for most camper or emergency home needs.Comes with everything you need right out of the box, even the oil, RV power adapters and more.Very economical on fuel average load. They can run in parallel and they provide the cables in the box.Great for remote operations or off road camping.Dual fuel operation, no need for messy or dangerous liquid gas. It's is quieter than many standard generators on the market. The LP hose does not interfere with a 30amp RV plug when the 30amp adapter is used. (Nice Touch)Cons. Keep in mind...I have been spoiled by Honda super quiet generators. While the spec reads the same as Honda they are considerably louder and weigh a little more. I would not use it in a park situation for the noise, especially at full speed max load. The new Honda generators in this class are 2200 watts. But Honda generators run around $1,400.00. This unit is 2000 watts, 1800 watts on LP gas. at less than $400.00.Their is no quick disconnect on the LP hose, you need a wrench. While I only use it in the LP configuration, it make it hard to store with the hose and regulator attached all the time.Like most things you get what you pay for but in this case this is a lot of inverter generator for the money. I would recommend this unit with the limitations noted above... j

Seems like a really good backup when the power goes out.
So this generator took a LONG time to finally ship but it arrived safely (thank you UPS) and in good condition inside the box. The box it came in said on the outside that it included a bottle of oil and the manual said it would include dc charging cables but neither were packaged with the generator (think they use the same box for all of their 2000 watt generators and got lazy with the print), but everything else like the funnel, spark plug wrench and parallel cables did. I connected a propane tank to it that I’ve had for a while but it didn’t startup right away...called A-IPower and (though it took about 10 minutes to speak with someone) it turns out that I was too low on propane for it startup (I was probably near empty). With a new tank connected and a few pulls later I was good to go. I let it run for a bit without a load and then connected a rotating heater rated at 1500 watts (which is the max when using propane) and the overload light never came on even after 15 minutes with the heater on high (the dark picture shows heater connected to the generator). I even plugged in my iPhone at the same time and it worked great! It’s still early but I’m very happy with my purchase so far. I will try to update after I get some more experience with it. The generator does feel like it is solidly built and from what I’ve read in the manual it seems that this senci motor is just a generic version of the Yamaha motor sold in the blue SUA2000 model. The unit is not light but is easy enough to carry around...I love the portability of it. As other reviewers have said the noise level is very good compared to the larger generators...Even at about two feet away you could carry on a conversation with someone without having to raise your voice and from inside your home you will barely even hear it. I would recommend getting the elongated flexible funnel and the magnetic dipstick like others have suggested. The flexible funnel made adding oil painless. So far I would say go for it if you are on the fence about purchasing it. Nice to have something like this as a backup.
