Chase's Calendar of Events 2018: The Ultimate Go-to Guide for Special Days, Weeks and Months

I've been buying Chase's Calendar of Events since the 1970s! Every year, they seem to make the same mistake and leave me out. But, I still buy and enjoy it, anyway. :) I like all the sections - the review looking back at the decade - the birthdays and events of the day - I don't look forward to the years going by so fast, but I look forward to buying the new issue!

I buy this every year for my work. I use it in part to make a really fun calendar that we print and ship to each of our members. We also use this to help us come up with fun event promotions. Very useful tool.

I've been a customer of Chase's for decades. But I don't recommend the ebook. For one thing you can't copy and paste from it, which makes it kind of pointless if you are compiling a calendar. You might as well have the print edition because no matter what you will have to retype. No use in going to the company website. After many tries I've just concluded their website doesn't work and no one will fix it. That includes customer service. Customer Service doesn't have the slightest idea how this book works (or doesn't work) or why the website doesn't work. And they do not care, that's for sure. No one appeared to have any idea that you could buy this on Amazon. Of course, it IS cheaper here but they can't sell it on their website either so there's no profit motive in their apparent ignorance.

I buy this every year. It's my guide to all the little known facts and happenings in the world on any given day. I would greatly recommend it.

As a former librarian, principal and current mentor for teachers clearing their credentials, I have used this tool for decades. I usually go to the library for this because it is such an expensive resource. However, as I currently have limited access to transportation, I find I need on demand access! You can't find a better resource. Sorry no one from the company will listen to customers to make copying available in your on-line version so users can cut and paste info to their site calendars. This is an easy fix. Is anybody listening? This truly is an exceptional resourse for librarians, teachers, administrators and anyone who promotes noteworthy events to support lifelong learning!
