Great as a heat protectant & smells wonderful!
I have 2a type hair. Although this works great as a scrunched-in mousse when wanting to wear my hair natural, I actually prefer to run in through my hair right out of the shower before blow drying and straightening it! It works great as a heat protectant and keeps my hair straight all day, especially when paired with this same brand’s hair spray, which is something I have always struggled with. My hair isn’t naturally super curly, but I can never seem to keep my hair straight without getting wavy underneath or the ends flicking in/ out. This mousse keeps my hair pin straight, doesn’t leave a nasty residue, makes my hair oh so soft, and smells amazing! It smells like a mix of lemon cookies and fruity pebbles, which I personally love.

Works very well and smells wonderful!! It doesn’t dry out my hair and my curls are bouncy.

Nice
I've been looking for something that can add volume so decided to give this a try. It has a interesting smell I don't know how to describe it, maybe sweet and nutty. This foams up really good and a small amount goes a long way. As far as adding high volume it does not do that but it will add a little and not weigh your hair down which is nice. I like this and would purchase again I just wish the claims on this product were more accurate.

Love this mousse product! It works really well on natural curly hair and keeps hair style looking nice all day without falling flat! All day hold that dries soft to the touch instead of drying stiff like most hair products. This mousse smells good and never leaves your hair or hands feeling sticky or stiff after use, it’s a bouncy curl hold on your hair. Would purchase this again!

It Works For Me!!
I searched and searched pages and pages of available Amazon products for a hair mousse with no phthalates, sulfates or parabens. They make my scalp itch. I finally found “Cake”. It is made in Canada. It works well and has a pleasant ( different ) scent, lemon cookies. Very happy with the service and the product.

It gives my fine hair volume
This product did absolutely nothing for my hair. I followed the directions and when I was done blow drying and curling my hair it was limp and flat, no volume at all. Very disappointing. I can't return it and I don't find any way to contact the company

Adds volume but I smell like a cruise ship cake buffet
I should have paid attention to the scent, lemon cake..... it is what is says LEMON CAKE. While I like to eat lemon cake, I don't want my hair to cause sudden cravings for cake. If you want to tantalize flies, mosquitos, bees and other wildlife, this product is for you. With that said, I will say the mousse does add volume without leaving your hair stiff . I have fine curly hair and it added a bit of volume that I was looking for. I prefer my hair products to smell floral or like a spa. This one unfortunately just needs a side of icing scented hairspray to complete the full cake buffet aroma.
