This came fully assembled. However, I had to use wood glue to glue one of the pillars that had come loose. Also, the cars could be better. They go off track often. It is cute and the all wood looks great sitting out, but the quality could be better.

Made from wood and easy to assemble, it promised many afternoons of fun. However, the experience was a bit of a mixed bag.The set itself is well-made. It's durable, which is a big plus when you have a gaggle of grandkids who aren't always gentle with their toys. The one piece that needed to be connected snapped in without any issues. But when it came to actual playtime, the excitement fizzled out pretty quickly. The cars, although cute and wooden, often required a little help to start their descent. The slope of the ramp isn't steep enough, which means the cars sometimes stop before reaching the bottom. This hiccup in the action meant the kids had to keep intervening to keep the race going, and after a few tries, they lost interest and moved on to other toys.While the idea of the race track is wonderful and the build quality is solid, the lack of continuous action was a bit of a letdown. It's a shame because the concept could be a hit with the right execution.
