I bought this for trip in a flight in Spirit and used with no issues as the personal item. A lot fit inside. I even used it for a hike and it was comfortable and had enough pockets to fit everything easily. The bag is durable and stylish.

I bought the 17" size to be my "personal item" on a Frontier flight and I loved it! Previously I had a duffel-bag style bag but that got so uncomfortable to carry. Switching to a backpack was a huge upgrade in terms of comfort and I highly recommend it. The boxy shape of this backpack makes it perfect for maximizing what you can carry within the size limits of a budget airline personal item.Note that one picture says the backpack is 18.5" tall but Frontier's longest allowed dimension is 18". Because this backpack is not super structured, it does squish into the bag sizer just fine! The caveat is that you must not overstuff this backpack. You could definitely put in too much stuff, or pack it in a way that distorts it, and then it wouldn't fit. I also found that on Frontier, the underseat area for the window seat is a little smaller than the other seats, and I did have to squish the backpack a little bit to get it under there. Totally works, you just have to be mindful how you pack this. Similarly, if you have anything significant in the side water bottle pocket, that would also make your pack "too large."I do like the pockets on this. In particular, the exterior zipper pockets are great for keeping little items close at hand, and the laptop sleeve is nice too. I really like how it unzips around 3 sides so you can pack it like a suitcase and then access it from the top like a normal backpack.For what it is, it's quite comfortable. The straps have a little padding and sat comfortably on me. It actually feels pretty well-made and has held up in my travels so far with no problem. Again, it's not super-structured, so it does lose some of that crisp boxy shape over time that it has right out of the box, but it still looks pretty good and stays easy to pack.

I took a four day trip out of state and just packed everything up in this bag it has many pockets ! I did not realize how much it can fit in there and it was not heavy on my back so it’s comfortable . perfect under the chair of the train and airplane . Worth the buy .

Bought this and several other bags while I’m in search of the right one. Loads of good features & size. Cheap! But the fabric seems of good quality. Straps are comfy. Compared to others though:- everything large has to go in that big pouch - the one I kept has another big pocket on the front that gives more options- bottom exterior compression strap gets in the way of the water bottle pocket- large “clothing” section doesn’t have the compression straps that a suitcase has (and my winner had)That said. If you need something cheap to score those cheap flights and only bring personal item, this is still a great buy.

I was very stubborn on this trip with buying a carry on (flying frontier 😒) and just to buy a carry on was more than my flight itself, so I decided to do personal item only. I did a lot of research on what works on this airline, and this bag works perfect. I used this bag in addition to vacuum seal bags I highly recommend those!! I fit EIGHT days’ worth of all my stuff in here. So many pockets I felt super organized and confident that I didn’t need to compromise on leaving ANYTHING behind. I got the smaller size bag so that I could stuff it and it still fits in the compartment bag sizer at the airport they make you use. the side straps are SO great because you can squish down the bag even further, or you can cross them like I did in the photo, I brought my switch for the airplane and it even fits within the measurements with it on the side!! I was fortunate space wise because i’m packing clothes for a hot climate. So I fit about six pairs of shorts, 8 tops, all my socks and everything else like a small pair of shoes, all my cosmetic stuff, chargers, hats, literally everything. It shut just fine and held its shape!!! It’s very light and comfy to walk around with and plenty of straps and pockets on the exterior as well to keep your wallet, hang your headphones on, etc. I can see myself using this so often in the future!TLDR; don’t bend to the airlines’ insane price gouging attempts, this bag (plus vacuum seal bags!) got u covered for over a week & if you’re not flying frontier get the larger size :)

Superó mis expectativas, la recomiendo totalmente, compre la más pequeña 15’6Y para mi cubre perfectamente mis necesidades. El material es de mucho mejor clase que una anterior que compre llamada “la mochila viral “ y por cierto ésta a un mejor precio . Calidad en cierres , materia y es animal print lo que más me gustó!!

Es de buena calidad, prácticamente una mini maleta perfecta como personal item, súper práctica cuenta con bastantes compartimentos y de buen material perfecta para viajes.
