Worth the effort
This is our second Bestway Steel Pro, we had a smaller one before and this new 10 foot one fit nicely in the same spot, and we added a higher volume pump. It's a bit of a project to level the ground, put it together, and set it up (took me 2 days of working on it here and there whenever I had some time, probably 3-4 hours total). Also I got some workspace padding (the interlocking padding used on the floor by a workbench to relieve tired feet) and put that under the entire pool for a softer floor for the kids.In our experience, these pools are entirely worth the effort and a great upgrade from basic blow-up pools that don't have a filter. With a filter, you never need to change the water (though you will need to change the filter every couple weeks and also learn basic pool chemistry, get some baking soda, a chlorine pellet dispenser and a pool test kit to keep the water pristine and crystal clear). You can find videos to walk through all that online so it's not too difficult. The one downside I noticed with this class of pools is the filter pipes tend to get brittle and leak after about a year, but replacement hoses are affordable. The biggest upside is how much the kids love it!!

Great Pool For the Price
I have had many blow up pools over the years this was my first purchase of this type of pool and I am very happy with it. See details below:* size is perfect* it was okay to set up instructions need to be improved but we got it done.* my patio has a slight grade for drainage so I was concerned setting it up, however, it is doing fine. We are careful with the side that would be more stressed. I found a baby padded play yard pad that I will use next year to level better.* the size is perfect for my granddaughter to swim and shallow dive for items.* Although it came with a filter it was soso I went and bought the Intex 1000 gallons per hour and works much better.* I use the floating chlorine containers works perfect.* I bought the little water/hose vacuum and again perfect.* I bought a bigger solar cover which I cut down to fit with a little overlap. It is great keeps water warm and clean from debris when not in use.I run the filter daily and only vacuum and use filter nets when needed. I have only had to use water clarifying once as we were gone 4 days and that was before I got the better filter.I cannot recommend this enough it has made the summer perfect as I watch my granddaughter and has provided hours of fun. One caveat do the maintenance it’s not time consuming and it keep the water crystal clear.like this size and it seems quite durable. The price was a good price for the size and I like that it came with the filter.

The Pool is Great!
I purchased the pool for my dogs to swim in and it's the perfect size for that. It was pretty easy to put together, even though the instructions weren't so clear. I did have my doubts that I was putting it together correctly half the time, because the poles have a hole on one side making it seem like it should lock into something. But it's only the corners that have a locking pin. I would have given this 5 stars, but the pump is awful. Mine leaks in a couple hoses and from the pump itself. The pump had a loud whine to it sounding like it was going to die anytime - well it did. I've had the pool about two weeks and the pump isn't working anymore. I was also hoping to keep it up all winter, but with the water leaking out of the hoses that isn't going to work. So the pool itself is great. Durable, heavy duty and a great price. But I'm not sure what to do about the pump. I'm hoping to find a decent replacement that will hold up longer than two weeks.

Great little pool
Waaaay better than an inflatable pool which usually gets punctured to first day by a cat trying to drink out of it. An hour after setting this up, a neighbor cat jumped up on it. Not today, Mittens! This pool easy to set up, so far durable and the kids have a great time in it. Once it was empty, it was easy to move with two carrying fully assembled to a different part of the yard to save killing the grass. Easy to clean. I cleaned it with a sponge, used a shop vac on the dirty water and it was ready for fresh water. This also is very similar to the pool we had in the 60s that lasted for years. Little nostalgia as a bonus.

It's great for smalls and family!
This pool is only like 17inches tall so if the littles sit down the water is still low enough that it doesn't take away play options. The frame is something you should have 2 people to assemble but there are no tools needed. It's very sturdy once water is added and it has holes for a filter system. It is just as easily used without the system and just skimming and reg. Pool maintenance otherwise. It's easy to drain, move and refill as well. The pool lining is durable and so far there isn't any tearing or ripping.

Great little pool
Even though it’s the 7x10ish and thought it would be too big for my little backyard, it actually worked out great in size.I put it together by myself in less than three hours. Instructions weren’t that great, but if you have common sense:)The pump works good and I have a floating chlorine tab, which is also a pretty light. I purchased a cover for it and it fits great. Bought a pool net and pool rechargeable vacuum. So far so good.Four people can float in it at a time no problem in blow up pool chairs. It’s great to cool off in this Sacramento hot weather.
