Love my egg slicer

ETA: I had to drop this to four stars. Sadly, after only a couple of weeks, and being used on only eggs, but daily, the wires are starting to bend out of shape. I wish it were a bit sturdier.****This review takes for granted that you realize that this slicer only slices the short way -- If you want your eggs diced or sliced long-ways, then this is not the slicer for you. This slicer does the job easily and well, and it can either go through the dishwasher without a problem or be handwashed, which is easy.I would personally have preferred the slices of egg to be a little bit wider, but that's probably because I was cutting eggs for a toddler friend's snack, not to go on a sandwich. For a sandwich, this would be good.In the end, it's inexpensive, well made, and does what it supposed to do!

This is how restaurants get perfect egg slices in large quantities. I eat hard boiled eggs a lot. I have wanted one of these for years, and now I have it!As you can see, works flawlessly. Perfect size for large eggs, would also work for strawberries. Cuts easily and smoothly. I just use my sink sprayer to spray it off daily, and then pop it in the dishwasher every few days when I have a load.Despite being plastic, it seems sturdy. It's not meant to cut hard things, so I can't see how it would fall apart easily.

I got this for adding some sliced strawberries or eggs to my salads, etc. and it arrived fine out of the box. It went through the dishwasher fine, and the stainless wire didn't show immediate rust or anything, which is good! The cutter is easy to use, and the wire is good for most softer foods like strawberries, eggs, and so on if they fit in the center. Overall no complaints, not sure how long it will last, but the plastic feels good and the wire is fine so far!

This product is incredibly inexpensive and works like a charm! It is also incredibly easy to clean and is dishwasher safe. It definitely saves time and energy in comparison to slicing an egg with a knife. For the price, I believe this is a great purchase.

I've owned egg slicers in the past, but none of them were quality made like this one. I like that the slicer is very durable and not cheaply made. I can use it to slice my eggs for salads and tuna sandwiches. I clean the slicer right after using it, so its not a hassle later. I haven't put it in the dishwasher yet, but I feel like it should be fine, if I put it on the top rack. It has a great price point too!

This slicer is too small to dice larger eggs.
