The hardest part about applying this product is the prep- you have to vacuum and mop your engineered hardwood first. Then the application is a breeze, essential a damp mop procedure, with the damp being provided by this polish. Make sure you apply an even amount of "dampness", then wait 90 minutes and prepare to be amazed by the shine. Scratches from dog claws and desk chairs will magically disappear, and be replaced by a glassy deep shine. It's definitely worth the time and you'll get that 'just installed' look back to your hardwood floors.

When reading the input, some said there was a white film left. Could be you put it on too thick and didn't remove the excess by polishing another section of floor with the excess wax. In time you will have the white disappear just as the polish does when it is time to repolish...Just be frugal this time. Or better yet:Once the streaking dries take the pad and add a line of polish to the pad not the floor. Use the polish pad to run it back over the streak in the direction of the planks. Presto, problems solved. Be sure to only go once in one direction. Don't go back over the polish as you do the floor that's what causes the blotches. Like varnish go one way only and once. I am delighted with the appearance of my floors. They looked terrible with gouges and marks, but the polish fills just enough to take the worst appearance out.. Yes, pet nails will make it look scracthy. Just dab new polish. Imperfect world.

I bought this product for my wood floors in my home and it did a fine job but more than that. It did a really nice job on the tumbled stone outside patio bar that I have very pleased with this product.

I love what it did for my old bathroom tile floor. I first cleaned it with a mixture that contained ammonia and scrubbed the grout joints with an electric brush. Then I cleaned it again with bona tile cleaner and a microfiber mop. Finally I used two coats of the bona tile polish, and the old floor looks almost like new. It has a very nice sheen without being too shiny. Very natural. This was about a month ago and it seems to wear very well. I will keep using this product for my tile floors, but not for my hardwood floors. You can't use the same product for two very different things, that's why some people complain about their wood floors. Look for something made especially for hardwood.
