Fisher Space Pen, X-750 Space Pen, Blueberry (X750/B)

OK, so if you've never had or seen a Fisher Space Pen, here's the deal:Unlike most ballpoint pens, particularly disposable ones, the cartridge is pressurized in such a way that it doesn't require gravity to work. You can write upside down with it, if you should need such a thing. Actually useful though, you could write using a wall as the work surface for your pad. More importantly, it provides even, consistent and reliable ink-flow throughout the life of the cartridge. If you've ever had a pen explode or crap-out on you when you needed it, you'll understand the value of this.The other major selling point is the sturdy metal case, which both protects the pen well and adds some weight for smoother writing.They also look kind of cool.Two notes on this particular pen: First, it may not be obvious from the photo, but the length closed is about 2/3's of a normal pen length. When you put the cap on the other end, it is a normal length. Second, the pocket clip is a little tight. The pen is certainly more secure in your pocket, but you can't just slip it in; you'll have to take an extra second to work it into your pocket.So, tough, compact and reliable. If you need a good ballpoint, buy and enjoy.

It is the famous space pen.bought it to keep in my travel/tech bag. The form factor is excellent. very compact. Smaller than I thought it would be. About 3/4 the size of a normal pen. It writes well. If you are shopping this pen,you have likely already done your research. I can attest this pen is good quality and I recommend it.

This is a nice change from the bullet Fisher Space I’ve used for decades and still love. The grip on this pen is easier to hold especially for extended writing sessions and if aesthetics count, this is a good looking pen that would be perfect for gifting.

In my opinion these are the best pocket pen available. I have carried one of these for the last 10 years. Unfortunately I let my wife use it while were out, and my companion for the last 5 or so years disappeared. She said she left it on the table. Oh well it was time for a new one. Paint was half gone (it was the black one) and it was pretty beat up. Never failed to write though.

I have a "space pen" that I received as a gift over 25 years ago. I love the pen, especially the feature of being able to write at any angle. This is a fun, compact pen that I use in my checkbook wallet, and have with me wherever I go. It uses the same refills as the other pen, so it is very convenient.

My wife loves this little pen, she does a lot of moving around at her school and has to do paperwork constantly. This pen writes well and the customer service was great. We noticed a small crack in the base near the silver band that was flexing when she would write with it and didn't look like it would be good in the long run, so we sent it to the Fisher Company in Utah and they sent us a brand new pen within 3 weeks!

I've had several space pens over the years, and I've given a lot for gifts. This one I prefer over the bullet ones. The color is beautiful too. You can't go wrong with any space pen.

I got this space pen because my finger was irritated by the ridging on my other space pen. The grip here helps but it is a grip more than a cushion which I should have realized. It still is one of my favorite pens and I don't seem to lose it as frequently since it has the clip.

This is a very nice pen. In the picture, with the lid on, it measures 11cm (just under 4.5 inches). When you take the lid off and attach it to the back of the pen (which is how most people will use it), it measures 14cm (5.5 inches). The Fisher refills - available in black, blue and red with a fine or medium nib - do, as advertised, last for a long time compared with ordinary refills, though I would recommend ordering an extra one if you will be using it a lot. If you are a lazy so-and-so like me and like writing while reclining (or prostrate) in bed you will not have to worry because the ink keeps flowing towards the nib regardless of the angle you are holding it at. These pens are marvellous inventions and beautiful to look at too. Thoroughly recommended.

It is a really good pen, and it does exactly what it claims (though I have yet to try it out in space, might have a run out there next week) it looks good and is comfortable to use, I have four fisher space pens and would definitely recommend any of them.
