My issue is the panning isn't fast enough for me to keep up with sports if I'm close to them. I'd have to be a great distance away unfortunately. My second issue, although minor, is the remote doesn't display the life of the batter. I thibk it only displays the life of its own battery. When I tested it and the head dropped by one bar, the remote stayed at full, so I assume the display on the remote is it's own battery life. I love the fact it's take C charging, but I wish the cord was longer, especially if I need to put this in the air. I'd have to get an additional charger to use it while plugged in. Minor, but it's an issue for me.

I've been using the YT-1500 Auto Motorized Rotating Panoramic Head for a few weeks now, and it's been an incredible addition to my photography and videography toolkit. From the moment I took it out of the box, I was impressed by its build quality and the array of features it offers. Setting up the YT-1500 was straightforward. It securely attaches to my tripod, and mounting my camera is quick and easy. The remote control is intuitive, allowing me to control the pan and tilt smoothly from a distance.

What works well: 1) Up and down motion when controlled with the remote and buttons on the unit 2) Speed of movement is easy to control using the remote 3) Memory for points A and B work, and the unit's buttons allow for 1-button panning between them What doesn't work: 1) Left and right motion are very shakey and juddery. Slower pans shake even more. 2) "Return to point A and B" settings on the remote don't work. 3) "Remember point A and B" settings on the remote don't work. Returning for a different unit that scrolls left and right smoothly, and has a remote controlled A-to-B function.

I’ll be using this on a trip to Washington next month. I’m anxious to see the better panorama shots I should be able to shoot this is a camera accessory I’ve always wanted.
