Perfect for getting that tailored look
I initially bought these to wear during my best buddy's wedding. I was the best man so I wanted to look good (without outshining the groom) in the photos. I hate having to readjust my shirt because it always comes untucked during the slightest move or reach. At first, I was reluctant to wearing these because I didn't want the outline to show. I work out regularly so my thighs are bigger and the pants the groomsmen wore were on the slimmer side. I kept going back and forth but decided why not because it wasn't too expensive. When you first put them on, it takes some getting used to, you feel very much "locked-in" and "springy" if that makes any sense. You just have to try them for yourself to know what I'm talking about. After a while of using them, you forget that they're on. As for it showing through my pants, it didn't until I sat down, but that was expected, even underwear lines show. They worked the entire day, through photos, wedding, reception, and after-party. There's a slight learning curve when it comes to putting them on and using the bathroom but nothing too crazy. Quality is very nice, clasps are made a little different than the usual alligator clips. In my opinion, these guaranteed that your shirt doesn't slip out of them.

The Finishing Touch To Being Sharply Dressed
I can remember my grandfather's valet putting them on his silk banker's hose before board meetings. This was 1952 and socks with elastic weren't around. It was easier, and still is, to put the garters on the socks before pulling them on then attach the one clasp to your shirt once it's on an buttoned. (Doing it before it's buttoned will skew it when you finally pull the placket closed.) I'm 6'6" and the manufacturer says there were tested on men up to 6'5". I presume their assumption is you will be wearing knee socks, if not, I'm not sure these would even fit. It's great to look in a mirror as you pass it, see your shirt as stiff as if it were starched. Never have to twist around to adjust it, just sit, look well groomed and very much like a gentleman. One thing again, I found the longest knee socks I could buy do to my height, that helps in that you don't show ankle hair and skin and the garter keeps them from sagging.

They work well, and are a must-have, but build quality needs to improve
There are pros and cons to these. If you dont want to read the full review, I understand. There's a Too Long; Didn't Read version at the end you're welcome to skip down to. First the Cons:I'm a bigger guy, and at work, I find my shirt comes out of my trousers way too often (without the garters at least.)I bought a black set directly from the KK & Jay website a while back, and I *loved* them... for about 2 months. The clips that grab your sock at the bottom, and your shirt at the top are a well-engineered, functioning design that I'm quite pleased with. The execution on build wasn't the best, though. The clips are very thin and flimsy, and aren't put together as well as they could be. First set lasted about a month and a half to 2 months of daily use, lots of standing and moving around, the second set is about 2 months in and seems to be holding up OK. Bending a little again but more than useable. I mean I've bought $9 walmart pants suspenders that have held up better than these. 5 years of use on those bad boys. Now the Pros:The other materials are very nice and high quality. The leather on the y-shaped split is a nice touch. The leather seems to be real leather and if it's not, its a very nice imitation. The leather keeps the Y shaped split from deforming and works very well. It's soft and supple but strong. I was worried when I nought them the rough-looking material in the picture would chafe my leg. Could not be farther from the truth. They are comfortable to wear, and even though it looks like it in the picture, the material in the garters themselves seems to be high quality and does not feel abrasive at all. If they ever come into contact with my skin throughout the day I'm unaware of it. The buckles at the center hold well, do not move, and are well made. Nice addition. Despite the problems with them, they work as advertised, they do their job well, and they don't come undone for anything which I really like. Like I said, although they could use better materials in the construction of the clips at the end, they are very well engineered and well thought out. They are a must have if you wear a dress shirt and slacks to work every day. I think if the company were to use a thicker or sturdier wire to build the clip, the problem would be solved. And/or maybe a touch of solder where the 2 sections of the clip join because that's where they like to come apart.TL:DR (Too Long; Didn't Read): After 2 pairs, there is 1 flaw that exists in both sets. The clips at the end wear quickly if you use them every day, but other than that they're well made. Highly recommend. Must have. The men's fashion accessory you never knew you needed. Not wanted, needed. After 2 sets, I consider them a necessity.

Great to use! Perfect for button down shirts!
I love this as it really just bring your style to another level making sure you always look neat. I still use it to this day and I have had it for around a year now. I it really keeps your button down shirt inside and tucked in. I see people complaining how it kind of leaves an imprint on the button down shirt. Yes it does but you can get most of it out from simply ironing the shirt and either way it leaves a little imprint on the bottom of the button down shirt, but it is on a part that not even it and no one can see because its tucked in. So Honestly no problems here!P.S. It kind of gets a little getting used to but besides that its pretty comfortable and durable

These things are a BEAST! Beautiful creation
I've been using them for nearly a year now and these things are SOLID. I do both ballroom and swing dancing and they do a great job of keeping my shirts tuckedIt does take a little bit of time to figure out exactly where to place the little grabbers. But when you do find that spot, your shirts aren't going anywhere. In my experience, I recommend fairly close to the highest point of your shirt. But not quite on that little area.I will say though, you do have to wear your pants a little bit higher depending on how long your shirts are.

Keeps your shirt tucked in, and looking smart.
They do what they are supposed to do. I'm not a fan of clips used to attach to the shirt or socks, but it does work perfectly.
