It's written in a clear manner, one which most can glean a lot of information from. There are many topics covered and the book gives specifics while providing an overall picture of the markets. A must-read if you want to explore investing and making effective money decisions.

Pros: Good overview of trading psychology and discipline and general financial market operation Cons: Not enough info about options trading - there are no actual or even hypothetical examples and really some of the options strategies are missing detail about how they work. Also the writing style is odd - maybe indicating too much AI writing.

Having traded Future options myself this is a great starting point to understand the importance of every aspect of the trade. I’ve made a lot of money by having a trading plan and following through like what you will learn inside. I’ve hedged futures, bought and sold them, my favorite are the deep out of money options that can be bought cheap and then turn into lots of cash. However, there have been times where the options expired worthless and many times purchase further out options why because I have a plan and stick to it until the goal is reached. This book talks about the importance of a strategy and following through. I found I had my most success when I followed my plan and had the biggest losses when I was in my head. There are many successful strategies for trading however, the biggest optical is the person in the mirror. It’s the psychology of trading taught in this book. This book is a great starting point for anyone looking to get started in options trading the right way.

As my headline suggests, this book provided me with a much better understanding of options trading. It's been years since I was in business school, and I remember learning about all this stuff years ago (I won't say how long ago...but it was a while) and the knowledge I once had has receded to the back of my brain -- until now. What struck me the most was the substantive nature of this book. Yes, it's suited for beginners (though I do think readers with a little knowledge will find the book easier to digest) yet it's not overwhelming. I found the content on trading psychology and discipline, unethical practices in options trading, and the book's emphasis on health and well-being to be particularly compelling. (At first I didn't understand the inclusion of health & wellness in this book, but it makes sense when you read it as the author rightly points out that it's easy to "get into it" and lose sight of what matters - like eating right, exercising, spending time with family, living a balanced lifestyle...). The regulatory frameworks section was also interesting. While that piece might not be of interest to everyone, I am currently doing some work in the regulatory space, so it's quite relevant to me. Finally, I absolutely LOVED the options trading techniques throughout the book, and the recap towards the end. As I was reading I thought that case studies and other examples would be good to have in the book and then bam - I realized the author provided exactly that in digitally linked content. Great read, highly recommend.
