Helpful, but better for older kids
This book has been really helpful for introducing my daughter to tools for managing anxiety. It breaks things down in a way that’s easy to follow and gives kids strategies they can actually use. That said, there are some words and concepts my 8-year-old didn’t fully understand on her own, so I’d recommend it more for ages 10 and up—or younger kids with a parent reading along and explaining. Still a great resource!

Tools for anxiety are priceless
I have a 9 year old that was starting to struggle with bad anxiety in general and specifically separation anxiety. This gave her some great tools for the first week of school. It was an amazing process to see her work through things. I deal with anxiety myself and wish I would have had something like this at her age. I’m extremely thankful for this.

Must-have book
Phenomenal book. Highly recommend it for any one struggling with these issues. It’s written for young children, but was applicable for my young adult. Actionable steps that make a difference. Must-have for those who work with or have mental health struggles.

This book helped my son with his anxiety, but it’s more for a child under 8.

Bought this for my 9yo daughter, who has trouble with anxiety at night sometimes. We went through the exercises together and I think they helped. I wrote out a single-page summary of the book’s management steps and she keeps it by her bed to go through when she needs it. She says it’s helped a lot.

My kid found this book really interesting and engaging. It's a great introduction to CBT strategies at an age-appropriate level.
