Absolute Havoc...5*+!!
It was February 2015 I read Mayhem and Riot and then Chaos in the July. It was only a couple of days ago I was remembering this series so I decided to check to see if Jamie Shaw had released her 4th book... well I got a lovely surprise when Havoc was staring back at me.What a fabulous series this has been and I still remember how I felt after reading Mayhem, this was Jamie Shaw first book and I was so impressed and I'm even more so now.!With each story we've fallen more in love with all the characters and everything that revolves around The Last Ones to Know and we have waited so long for Mikes story... I think about 17months? But it's been worth the wait.I honestly don't think Jamie Shaw could of made Danica any more evil than she was.. well she probably could but thank goodness she didn't because she was bad enough, she was very unpredictable and totally out for her own gain.Hailey on the other hand is a different story, she is beautiful through and thrugh, a complete contrast to Danica her evil cousin who prances around in all her glory thinking she is better than everyone else but it would all back fire on her in time. Hailey came across as the underdog, constantly putting up with Danica's verbal abuse and put downs you were just willing her to give her a piece of her mind but unfortunately Danica new she had got her where she wanted her, it certainly tested your patience.I loved how Mike dealt with Danica, once he finished with her that was it... it was only on Danicas part that she kept pushing but she had shown her true colours by now and he saw in Hailey everything he'd been missing.Up until about chapter 18... it was the build of what was to come and once the breakup was confirmed and Danica realised that Mike had his sights on Hailey the realisation set in but still Danica would continue to cause Havoc and we just lived in hope that Hailey would find a way to cope with everything that was thrown at her, thank goodness for Rowan, Dee, Kit and Leti they were her only friends that mattered... true friendsBetween the worry of what Danica might be planning next and Hailey worrying if she was going to loose everything, it became quite stressful especially as Hailey was keeping certain concerns and worries from Mike... if only he knew. You can't help counting down the days for Mike to return, we've already had some very beautiful and touching moments Phoenix for one and Mike flying home to spend a few hours with Hailey and his acceptance of Phoenix too but from this point it just keeps you gripped especialy the Thanksgiving scene that was epic and a long time coming! There's a lovely bulild up to the ending and the epilogue is just superb it couldn't have played out any better... Jamie Shaw did a fabulous job with this whole series and I can't wait for what ever comes next..!!Thank you..

Loved it!
Well this series keeps on getting better and better. I've enjoyed all the books so far but I think if I had to pick a favourite it would be this one. This is Mike's story. We've met him before in the series and got to know him a bit. He's the drummer in the up and coming band, The Last Ones To Know. He's not your typical rocker. He doesn't hook up with the groupies. He's waiting for 'the one'. He thought that was his former high school sweetheart Danica, but she broke his heart and he's not really got over it. When she turns up seemingly repentant he is thrown about what to do. Especially when you throw into the mix Hailey, Danica's cousin. Her and Mike instantly click over a mutual love of video games but neither are willing to admit or even do anything about that with the spectre of Danica hanging over them. Hailey is torn between her attraction to Mike and her loyalty to her cousin.I loved Mike! He was awesome and swoony and everything I hoped he would be. He was sweet and romantic but also strong when he needed to be. I loved Hailey although sometimes I wished she would stand up for herself a little bit more. She was constantly in her louder, bitchier cousins shadow and I just wanted her to step out. I understood why she was the way she was though and I liked her a lot. The side characters were great. It was cool to catch up with the other guys from the series and Danica was just the perfect bitch. I was itching to slap her on several occasions, lol. I also loved Hailey's little brother Luke. He was great! This was funny and romantic and emotional and a great read. I enjoyed every minute and read in one sitting. This part of a series but can be read as a standalone. I do personally think you should read the other books first though as there is some back story in them and they are all really great books.I loved this and would definitely recommend it.
