Quality Bike!
Very happy with this purchase. Overall, great quality. It was easy to assemble, but needed some adjustments. Perfect for 8-10 year old. Love the features: great to only have rear gears, outstanding kickstand, Shimano brakes, derailer guard. I removed the fenders, but also a neat feature. Boxed well, highly recommend.

Fun for little kids
I like the idea of a balance bike over a regular bike with training wheels. Once a child learn his to ride this, training wheels are not necessary. It would be nice if this had some sort of foot or hand brake. There is no way to slow down other than by dragging a foot on the ground and it's easy to gain too much speed when going downhill. This bike in particular is well made and had a nice finish.

Good little balance bike.
This is a nice balance bike. I think the appropriate ages for this bike would be about two years old up to five or six. I love these bikes because they have so many positive benefits. It will help build leg muscles, help with coordination, and also prepare them for when they graduate to an actual pedal bike. The bike seat is very cushy and it can be adjusted to different heights, to grow with the child. The handle bars have a grippy feel to them, and the tires seem to be very durable. They have been used on just about every terrain and they have been great. This bike would make a great gift for any occasion.

It's a nice balance bike - new territory for us as we're used to pedal bikes :)
We thought this would be a fun bike to have around the house for our grandson to try out. I've seen other children use the balance-style that don't have pedals, brakes, etc. I do feel they can offer some important learning capabilities that would be beneficial when you move on to a pedal bike. The assembly was minimal - basically installing the wheels and handlebars and it does include a multi-tool wrench device that can be used for this purpose. I prefer to use my own tools as the included device is uncomfortable to hold and not the easiest to use.The hardware is included - the wheels have the nuts already attached, you simply remove them and replace them when you put the wheels on the frame. The handlebars were also pretty straightforward; you use the allen wrench that's includes to install those. The biggest surprises to me were that the tires were missing the valve caps - the tires hold air which is a nice feature (they arrived deflated which I assume is on purpose). However they didn't include valve stem caps which I assume was a mistake from the factory. Also, the handle bars/fork are pretty stiff to turn. Not sure if this is intentional or not. I was thinking perhaps they make them harder to turn for small children intentionally so they don't go down a hill too fast and turn the handlebars too quickly and wreck.Overall we're really happy with this bike.

I See The Point Of This, But....
This bike is well built. The material is very sturdy. It just wasn't what my grandchildren needed at this time. I guess I'll keep it around for later use because not one of my grandkids need this or want to use it.
