The word "hot" is thrown around so much that you can't assume what you're buying is actually spicy. I've lost count of how many times I've bought a "hot" sauce or an "extra spicy vindaloo" and been severely disappointed with the heat provided. This is why I wasn't expecting much from this sauce... how wrong I was! Don't get me wrong; it's not blow your head off hot, but it provides a very serious amount of heat, and just the right amount of fruity papaya flavour that will leave your mouth tingling and tongue burning for a good 10 minutes! Great with fried chicken!
