Repaired my cpap hose in a stretch and a snap
This tape seals great and sticks tight to itself which makes it easy to plug up small holes on my cpap hose. It doesn't leaked and the humidity from the inside of the hose stays in over multiple uses of the hose. No leaks, no bubbles, no problems. I now keep a roll on hand and travel with it in my cpap case. No more mystery seal alerts from my machine. Once this tape sticks it stays stuck!

For some uses this tape is great! But it stretches thinner than others.
This self fusing tape is so useful! There are several brands of it on the market. This one is distinctive in some ways.* It fuses REALLY FAST. If you leave it together under tension for just a short time, you'll be using a knife or scissors to get it off.* It is kind of sticky and gummy. This is good for many uses, but it would collect hair and dirt on the outside in some applications.* It is quite strong. I haven't tried sealing a pipe under pressure and I suspect it would just balloon out because it is just really stretchy. If I were to try sealing something under pressure, I'd try multiple wraps around only advancing a sixteenth of an inch - a millimeter or so - on each wind, and keep it not super tight while doing it. This way it will build up a ton of extra strength with each overlapping wind, while the water squirts out of the end, until the pressure of the tape exceeds the water pressure. Then I'd go over it a few more times with an extra tight binding round. It sticks to itself so well that, in a tight space, that would be quite challenging to say the least. But you don't have to peel the backing off all at once you can peel as you go.Other brands are thicker, less sticky - and that has different use cases that are equally as nice.Overall, great stuff!

Better than others
It was better than others I’ve ordered but not completely seal proof. Would buy again for a temp fix as it was better than things more expensive but not for a permanent fix. Def worth the money though in a pinch!

Works…
First it came in a black box and in packaging nothing like the picture which is fine because how it works is all that matters. Magic tape? Eyyy. Depends. I tried it on a plastic hose with a known 25psi running through it. It failed to stop the leak. Once over the hole wrapping several times it began swelling making a giant bubble. At that point I turned off the water to stop the pressure. So stopping a leaking hose? Maybe just don’t have it under pressure.Next I wrapped it over a hole with a plug in it that still leaked in the same hose. It didn’t seal it 100%. Made it leak less but water still found its way around the “magic self fusing” tape. It’s exactly what it is. Cheap silicone tape. No better and no worse than others with the exact same limitations all tapes of this kind have.It sort of works. I can’t give it anything other than 5 stars. It’s what I expected and not “magic.”

Don't buy this product
This is a horrible product. Maybe and that's a big maybe it might work for a garden hose but if you need something to temporarily repair a plumbing issue, DO NOT buy this product. I was trying to seal a dripping section of copper tubing and it did not help at all. Still dripping all over the floor.

Love This!
I bought this product for a leaking shower head pipe. It worked great to fix the pipe and I also use it for multiple other things around the house!

Not quite what I expected
Wouldn’t stop a water leak on an interior copper line!
