Great monitor for a great price.
Overall, I've been really impressed with the quality of this monitor.Main points: - The base is made of glass with a solid neck, the edges of the screen are discreet and have no light bleeding out the sides. - Great viewing from wider angles (good for multiplayer games) and good range of vertical tilt. - I've found the picture quality itself and the colour depth to be great - The screen will tell you what resolution to set if the full screen application is not at 2560x1440, which can be very handy. - Overall impressed by the build quality. - One minor gripe is the ports point directly down, which can make it hard to plug things in. However this does mean cables take up a lot less space at the back of the monitor, it looks tidier and you won't have any dust going in the ports so I wouldn't say this is a significant drawback.

Super for work,terrible for audio
At this price for 2K monitor, you can't go wrong. Picture is excellent and so much more screen real estate. A game changer when working from home. I have it hooked up to 2 inputs (DP + HDMI) and while it is a bit slow hunting for the right one depending on what PC i have turned on, it is still usable. The only issue with this monitor that i can see is the sound. It's so bad. You need an external set of speakers to hook up.

Very good budget monitor
Currently I've 5 of them used for trading station and so far I am really happy with this purchase. Very good picture quality, very little (near to zero) backlight bleed in the corners, good colors (after some basic adjustments). For me this panel could be slightly brighter, beside I have 27inch Samsung 4K TN monitor (bottom left corner in my pictures) and in terms of brightness Samsung is a clear winner here.Works with Mac as wellDo I recommend you to buy one ? Yes I do !!!

A surprising omission
I bought two of these monitors for GIS related work. I'm pleased with the image quality and the price. However, I was surprised and disappointed that the cable set didn't include a DisplayPort to DisplayPort cable. I bought these monitors specifically because I wanted to run them from a four-port AMD Radeon W5500 graphics card. As they have a DisplayPort socket in addition to two HDMI sockets I expected there to be a cable bundled with the monitor.

Blurry and over priced
This monitor does not feel like 1440p, it feels like a bad 1080p at best. I have another 1440p 27" monitor beside this monitor and the difference is insane. DO NOT BUY THIS MONITOR, It looks terrible and is very overpriced (I bought it on sale but the RRP is a joke)

Below the average
The overall impression from the product is rather disappointing than satisfactory. The biggest disappointment is the picture quality. I had this screen for enough time (more than a year) to get used to this. But when you compare it side to side even to cheapest alternatives you can clearly (oh, what an irony) see the difference, the text on this screen is sort of blurry. Something you can find in other reviews as well. And I confirm this from my side too. Even this is a budget version, they still could do a better job on this. One other thing, my screen started misbehave occasionally right after 1 year of use. Rarely the screen switches off unexpectedly with a popping sound from the back panel just like there is a short circuit there. Does this few times in a row, then runs fine for another couple weeks. On a bright side, the price is reasonable. The screen has thin bezels (comparing to my other 8-years old monitor). The LED power lights are located at the bottom side of the panel which is convenient for me as the light doesn't bother me during the night these times when I need to sleep in the same room on the couch.

Works Amazing with MacBook Pro (2012)
Absolutely love these monitors! I got two of them to accompany my Apple LED display which I run my 2012 MacBook Pro through.I have a Thunderbolt to HDMI converter for one display, the other connects directly with HDMI and my Apple Display runs though the other Thunderbolt port.I didn't buy them for gaming but for my everyday business needs which creates a very busy desktop and I could not be happier with the results!

I really wanted to like it..
I have bought this product two times. The first time the montior had multiple dead pixels throughout the screen, and there was a constant low pitched humming noise that seemed to come and go. I refunded that monitor and decided to buy it again as I presumed I was just unlucky.Second monitor arrived and there were no dead pixels which was nice. Though the low humming noise was still present. After some playing about, I noticed that the humming noise only started if the stuff on my screen was mainly white, and after some more playing about, i noticed that lowering the brightness/contrast/hue of the display seemed to help. Though I had to basically lower everything to 0 for the humming to go away. Looking online this seems to be a known issue with LCD displays (the product is advertised as IPS but the fact that this monitor has these issues makes me think this is infact false), and it seems to link to a lack of sheilding around the transistors on the motherboard. So there is a chance I have just bought another faulty monitor, or the build quality is just poor. This is all a shame, as when the monitor is not suffering from these problems it is great. The bezels are nice and small, the display is clear and good value for money. The in built speakers are piss poor, though I have proper speakers for my PC so this was not an issue for me (though something to bear in mind if you were planning on relying on the monitor's speakers).I have now decided to refund this monitor a 2nd time, and increase my budget by £100 in the hopes I get something without all these issues.

Excellent value
Amazing value, sharp and responsive for day to day purposes. Using in an office setting, no creative or gaming activities to report on. Great format, 32” might be better for 1440p as office apps text gets small (zooming defeats the purpose of the higher resolution), but my desk could only fit two 27” anyway.

Very good monitor for the price. Good brightness. Thin bezel and lightweight. Great for portrait mode.
Great value for a 27 inch with 1440p resolution. The bezel is fairly thin and looks nice when used in multi display. I am using two of these in portrait mode and the 1440 resolution is plenty large enough for the standard web page at full desktop resolution (which is typically anywhere from 1000-1600px, with most being at ~1400px range). The 1440p resolution is much better than 1080p monitors which will be restrictive in their horizontal capacity when placed into portrait mode. The brightness is good and color quality seems fine to me. I am not extremely particular on this as it doesn't effect my productivity and at this value you can't complain too much anyway. I ordered the first monitor to make sure it would fit in my pre-existing monitor mount as well as see if it looked good, of course, at least compared to my other monitors. Compared to the ASUS VG248's that these replaced: these were much brighter and showed better color. Deeper looking blacks. Better viewing angle. Compared to my fairly new Dell monitors these are on par, possibly slightly lesser in, quality and "vibrance" I would call (as a non videophile). However the Dell monitors were 50%+ more expensive. And being that I am continually upgrading my workstation I tend to always go with the lower-end models.ViewSonic is a great monitor brand and I still have a 19' ViewSonic from the early 2000's maybe older I forget, which still works flawlessly to this day - while I've had many others over the years give out, even with much less usage than the ViewSonic. Their newer craftsmanship and products seem to be made with the same care. Which I've learned comes from companies that care about their products not just profits, which is what we need more of.
