We bought two of these to gift. The quality for the price is great. It comes with multiple pieces to practice on so I think it’s great for beginners. Works well for different age groups, teens and kids. It was easy to follow as the print on the canvas was easy to see. The yarn was vibrant and sturdy.

I have quilted all sorts of quilts such as memory, art and traditional but wanted to add another element to the quilts. I was delighted to find how well this kit is put together. Everything is in the kit to practice different stitches. When completed this is a great reference comparison on how different stitches would look in my project with 1-6 thread counts. The plus is the kit comes with a nice manual but even more link to instructional videos - a perfect blend!!! Highly recommend this kit if you are even considering trying out embroidery!

I would consider myself more of an intermediate embroiderer than a beginner, but I wanted some more practice with basic and complicated stitches, so I thought I would give this kit a try. Overall, I’m pretty happy with it. It includes a bunch of patterns, and even if you don’t mind the picture instructions helpful, you can scan the QR code provided for video instruction. My biggest complaint is that there is not nearly enough thread for all of the patterns. Once you factor in mistakes (again, this is supposedly a beginner kit), thread getting too tangled to use, you run out pretty quickly. I would have appreciated more.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:This product had more to offer. Once received it also gave the option for you tube instructions which helps out a lot to teach how it’s done. Love it.

it's been over five decades since I've done any embroidery so I thought why not start from the beginning. it's lovely how they provide everything you need and if the written directions aren't enough there's a link to YouTube videos! I really appreciate that.

I have very mixed feelings.1. This is semi beginner friendly but the pictures are useless if you don’t know what you’re doing2. There is little variety in the stitches you’re practicing which may be helpful for a true beginner but for an intermediate it’s boring3. MY BIGGEST COMPLAINT the “washable” pattern printed on is definitely not washable. I tried everything and it didn’t budge. As you can see in my picture I corrected the missing lavender style flower and didn’t do a couple of the wheat branches as a result because I thought the pattern would wash out. It doesn’t when the directions clearly say it will.

Each piece teaches you different stitches. I know some of them but I like to keep up with them. Comes with all the thread for each project.
