OK for home garden
This is my second purchase of these hoops. The first time, I used two sets to set it up in two 4 x 8 foot beds with an extra two straight pieces on each side of hoop to make it taller, and pushed the legs about a foot down into my raised beds. I added insect netting, using the provided clips to secure it, and then used 8 foot garden stakes laid horizontally, and 3.5 foot garden stakes at each end to hold the netting down to prevent insect entry. This has worked fairly well, surviving some really strong windstorms without collapsing. The only problem has been that the wind blew the netting out from under the smaller end-stakes, allowing cabbage moths to enter. In one bed, the moths that entered laid eggs, and the netting prevented predators from getting them. I'll have to work on the design next year to prevent this. However, the good news is that I have had good crops of brassicas such as collards, bok choy, Chinese cabbage, and kale so far this year, plus it looks like I will actually get Brussels sprouts to harvest this year; all without using any pesticides and despite last year's disasters.About two weeks ago, I spotted these hoops on sale for Prime day, and decided to purchase two more sets. I'll use them in other raised garden beds in experiments to see if (1) they can keep chipmunks and rabbits from getting into, and decimating, my raised bean beds, and (2) if I can keep hearty vegetables growing through at least Thanksgiving with use of frost netting.

Great Product!
I ordered this to shade my young fruit trees. I’m in AZ and it’s HOT! I am ordering another set right now to finish up. I also ordered some garden netting that filters sun. These are easy to assemble and it comes with clips for netting.

Check your item immediately upon receipt
The item arrived quickly but was missing a major component (the metal connectors that make the pieces into garden hoops). The replacement item arrived immediately and is complete. I like this system because you can add a segment and make the hoops taller without taking the whole thing apart as plants grow. The green clips are flimsy and too small to work with shade cloth. I haven't tried them with insect mesh yet. I don't think they would work with a winter cover as those tend to be thicker.

This plus row cover for brassicas
We have a rough time keeping the cabbage butterflies from getting to the brassicas every spring. I got this too late in the summer to try it out, but this is going to be what we use to drape row cover fabric over to protect them. Brassicas don't need to be pollinated, so you can just leave the cover on as long as necessary. If you're trying to avoid squash bugs on squash plants, this may help, but you still have to check every day and it might be irritating having to reattach the cover. The storage for these hoops is awesome as they fit back into the box, but I may just leave them together and stack in the green house.

Not very flexible
Not very flexable, noticed at least one that snapped and broke after set up and tented over plants 😥They don't seem very flexible and really kind of short pieces, the metal pieces that suppose to hold them together either too loose and falls out of too tight to get on the sticks. No way to make them "stand" in place unless maybe use an extra couple pieces and drive them deeper into the soil, which during watering probably won't last long either.

Really good product
These are really good quality with one issue and that’s the silver coupling for each of the green rods. The rods slide into either end hitting a bump in the middle. However there’s nothing to secure them there. They tend to slip off during installation making it a chore to get them together. Once together they are really quite durable and flexible as well. The sway a bit with the wind depending on the height you decide to go. There’s lots of rids and couplings so you can decide just how you’d like to use them and work with what suits your particular needs the best. They’re string and durable with some weight and look nice with the dark green. Performs well and seems to be a really good and valuable product.
