As sacred as this medal is, you’d think a company would take pride in it. Thought I hit a jackpot on price, not even close, got exactly what I paid for. The pin was on backwards, couldn’t get the ribbon to reseat once I got the slide out of the holder, ribbon was twisted and forced through the medal head, immediately regretted my decision and bought an anodized one for a shadow box from a legit medal company. That’s what I get for trying to cut corners!

I bought this medal for a shadow box that I was making in honor of a family member. When it arrived, the pin was on backwards. When I removed the ribbon with the intention of replacing it, the clasp completely fell apart in my hands. I do not recommend these medals.

The only purple hearts should be the ones ISSUED legitimately to wounded veterans. Even if you lose or damage your purple heart you can have it reissued. Something like this fake purple heart only serves one purpose and that's to claim service and valor that wasn't earned.

I was looking for a replica metal to use in my display because I didn't want to use my original one in it. This one seems fine it's only in the material seems a little cut different at the top and crimped at the bottom other than that it's a very good replica and something I don't mind using as a display item. The metal itself is heavy almost identical to the one I was issued Great find.
