Time savers are always appreciated so I like this basic idea—to prepare a balanced meal simply fill each container with the assigned food group. The system creates lots of meal possibilities and the included booklet explains the plan and has recipes for arranging coordinated meals ranging from simple like Herbed Hummus Dipping Box to more exotic Almond Pesto Pasta with Sweet Potatoes and Apples.There are two 1 1/4 cup containers for grans and vegetables and two 2/3 cup containers for fruit and protein. I prepared a meal of broccoli & carrots, tuna, watermelon & orange segments and pretzels. The containers have markings on the side so accurate measurements or adjustments can be made. For example I did not fill the grain container to the top, instead only adding 3/4 cup of pretzels.The four container lids have a flexible ring around the perimeter that helps obtain a good seal but they are not completely leak-proof. I filled one with water and turned it upside down and it didn’t leak, but shaking did cause some liquid to escape. It should not be a serious problem but I plan to keep liquids to a minimum.The box, insert and lid fit together smoothly and the snapping on the lid is reasonably intuitive – simply align the lid over the four colored raised areas centered along the upper edge of the box to fit inside the lid and then press the lid down over them. To remove the lid, pull up by putting fingers in the recessed area on both sides of the box just below the lid. These steps do not require significant strength so if should be manageable for even those people with some hand mobility limitations.The components are sturdy and the box reasonably compact. Containers are dishwasher, microwave and freezer safe and made of BPA-free plastic. Well-made dietary control system.

This is the 2nd one I have purchased. My first one I have had a year and it is in great shape. I bought a 2nd one because I have a chronic illness where I have to eat very small portions throughout the day instead of large meals. It's easy for me to forget to eat and hard to remeber to stay in my suggested portion allotment. Having this makes that's much easier for me!! I just load up the sections with whatever I am having and eat throughout the day. It's easier for me to see how much/if ive eaten and I can easily track for my Dr. How much I have had. I like these bc of the portion control, it is easy to clean. (I wash by hand bc I use it so much and it's faster but have placed in the tip rack of the dishwasher with no problems) It fits in my lunch bag and I can take out the containers if I just want to store 1 or 2 in the fridge but not the whole lunch box.

It has perfect portion sized containers but no type of locks or snaps to keep the lid tight or a handle to be able to take to work and handle it easier. But it serves its purpose.

Well done packaging, easy to clean, store and maintain. Great way to learn about and understand portion management. The recipe ideas are an added bonus.

This has been through the dish washer multiple times, all pieces (although I usually hand wash the lid and base) and so far no warping(even when lid and base were on bottom rack).Food was left open in one of the mini containers once and spilled everywhere inside the box but nothing came out. The little plastic containers inside are easily stained/damaged from microwave but it’s not like Pyrex material so after a bit just toss them and get a new one to put in the box.

I bought this to pack for my lunch to work. I like to meal prep but I didn’t like any of those other meal prep containers that can break easily or are too large, which defeats the purpose of eating less.1.) It’s very sturdy. Doesn’t feel like a weak container at all. When placing the lid on the container and putting it back on, it always holds in place.2.) All the mini containers already come measured and on the bottom it says how many cups of food it can contain. Plus, all of them are color coded, so you will never get confused.3.) I also received a meal prep booklet/start guide. If you need help with wondering what to eat and how to change your eating habits.I’ve lost over 100 pounds. I still want to remain eating healthy and maintain my weight.I’ve enclosed photos. Hope this helps :-)

Very happy with this purchase. The containers are sturdy and fit perfectly in the box. They look small, however hold the perfect amount of food if you use all 4 of them you will have a perfect balanced meal. I have been showing it off at work. Love it!

Loved it!! Great for my kids lunch. Makes a healthy complete lunch eeasy to assemble. Easy to clean and attractive. I chose well with this!
