Caka for Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 & 5 Case with Hinge & Screen Protector

I purchased this phone case about 6 months ago and its time for a new one. I expected it would wear out eventually, and frankly, for what it is, I'm surprised it lasted this long. This phone case is super simple, minimal on size and flare. I intentionally got this one because it seemed sleek and didn't add a huge bulk to my phone. The corners of the plastic got glossy with wear. It survived probably 6 or so drops. There is one slight crack near the hinge where the plastic hinge protector attaches to the front cover. Over all, this met all my expectations and I intend to buy another one right now. I'll wear the next one out too and continue repurchasing this. Unless someone makes a higher quality version very similar to this that will lasts much longer, I will continue burning through these every 6 months or so. For 15-17 bucks, worth it for 6 months of good protection. As far as functionality goes, the very edges of the front cover-screen are hard to get into with my thumbs up near the top edge of the screen, or on the home and back buttons right near the case's edges due to its thickness, but I have larger than average fingers, and I work a lot with my hands, so they are calloused, so I consider myself an exception, still- I can operate it just fine and have learned to work with it.

I really like this phone case, and sturdy it feels I like the soft touch as well as the color that I got. Pretty easy to open and close the phone case. Some of the pros that I like about this phone case, is that it doesn't have a fake plastic top screen. I find a lot of other phone cases that have hinge protectors have those annoying front plastic screen protectors. I find that when it comes with phone case it causes limited use and this one is clear of that issue. Super easy to install on the fit and it fits well. It does a great job of protectingy phone and the hinge as well. Cons I have are The hinge mechanism was stiff and squeaky. However I took apart the phone case and found that part of the hinge piece wasn't connected right. Once I fix that that solved the stiff and squeaky issue. My last con is that my MagSafe PopSocket doesn't stay on because it's too smooth of a phone case texture. Other than that solid phone case probably one of my favorites that I've tried for the flip phone.

I just love this case so much, it looks very classy and important, im going to get some other colors.

The Samsung flip gives a challenge for case makers. Most choose to do a 2 piece case, with the hinge uncovered. My last case for a Z4 occasionally slid down down, and then I dropped it in my garage, right on the hinge, and broke the hinge. Could no longer open it all the way. Bought a new z flip 6 and I looked for some kind of hinge protection on a new case. This case pretty much has it all. Nice protection all around, including a hinge component that slides into the lower part of the case. Occasionally I have to give the hinge a little push when I open the phone, but that doesn't bother me. I wish the case was just a little softer and grippier, but it's good enough. I'd also like darker colors. UPDATE: Just after 6 months the case cracked, by the hinge. Not sure when it happened. I had a couple of low drops onto my wood floors this week but didn't think they were bad. I'm going to try a different case.

I was skeptical cuz these cases usually suck but this in nice. Also it has a stand on the back which is nice but I don't use it cuz of the awkward angle. But I dropped my phone and no damage so I do recommend this case.

The phone case was initially a 5 star but after 2 weeks of regular use, the case cracked near the hinge. It makes it difficult to open the phone without the sides bulging and it will need to be replaced. Prior to the case cracking, I also had issues with the case popping off the top when trying to open my phone as well.

Really nice case. Fits well. Confused how the sticky parts were supposed to fit on the I side but ir worked. The hinge part feels kinda low quality compared to what I was expecting but it is pretty cool the way it works. Adds quite a bit of chunkiness to the phone so if you want it to be thin, this isn't the right case. The front glass cover is super nice to have though and it stuck on beautifully and very easy
