This is an easy-to-use, high quality lock that you can feel confident will keep your bike secure. It's expensive but the quality is clear to see and a small price to pay for peace of mind, especially when commuting.The U-lock is very sturdy and slots smoothly together. The lock is very heavy, which makes it a bit less appealing if you're carrying in a backpack or similar, but it can also be fitted to the bike frame when not in use if preferred.The additional loop cable is long and easy to manoeuvre. It can be used to form loops around tyres and frame, allowing you to secure more points on the bike and increase the difficulty for opportunistic thieves; the loop ends then fit neatly through the U-lock to hold in place.The supplied lock key is fitted with a bright blue light to help lock/unlock in darker situations.All in all, very happy, great purchase that will last a long time.

This has not been attacked, but appears to be really strong, well made and thought through.It replaces a more expensive Abbus Granit lock that after many years, the key got sticky and broke. This seems to me to be an upgrade in terms of material, build and quality, it has a small plastic sliding "gate"to keep dirt out of the keyhole (which was the led to the eventual demise of my Abbus).It comes with three keys (reassuring on such a tough lock), two of them are ultra small and lite in weight the third has a lED light built in that works well, although I do not use it as I like to keep things minimal and this key is a bit more bulky. Size wise, the lock is perfect, not too long or too narrow - it fits over the rim and tyre of a front wheel of a motorbike or would provide close protection for a bicycle frame against a railing - meaning lever style attacks would be difficult.I like the holder attachment, when used correctly, it works very well. I might buy a second lock for permanent placement and (the silver holder part on the U-lock can be removed which I also like).In a perfect world, I would love to be able to buy two locks with same key - so the extra colour option is helpful for identification if two are used.

This lock screams 'have a go if you think you're hard enough!!'. Premium look and feel. Weighty and really sturdy. The lock is able to be concealed by the sliding cover and is easy to lock/unlock. The key has a nice little light on it too. There is no way this 'bad boy' is coming off once attached - unless with a heavy duty tool and even then it will take some doing. Provides some reassurance that it will likely deter any 'would-be' opportunist. I couple it with a heavy duty chain lock too. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent lock easy to use. Nice big u-bolt space which aid in fence and post anchoring but also the heaviest of locks. When registering for replacement bike should the lock be defeated they need so much info as to make it almost impossible to register.

Heavy quality build but heavy for the road bike. I cycle an expensive 54 cm road bike and this is not ideal for attaching to the bike if U have a water bottle attachment on the inside of the main frame. I also tried to connect it to the back side of the bike and my heel clipped the attachment...The attachment to mount it to the frame is decent but quite bulky. She be a heavy lock but needed for that level of security.

This lock is great quality, it feels very well built. The mount that is provided works well as long as you set it up correctly (you keep the strap loose whilst you attach the plastic mount and then pull on the strap till it is secure, it’s fiddly but stays put if you do it properly, YouTube videos helped me). Overall I’m happy with the product there can be a slight rattle but I have it set up so that the lock presses against my frame to mitigate that issue. I would recommend this lock as it will be a difficult task to get through it and there is enough room to attach it to most posts.

This seems to be the minimum recommended thickness for resisting bolt cutters. An angle grinder will get through this with enough time. If you really care about your bicycle then I would suggest also buying the next thickness up for your frame and the next thickness down for your front wheel, using this lock to secure your back wheel to your frame or to the same post that your frame is already secured.
