VM26 Carburetor, Works with Mikuni Carb Honda Hawk Go-kart Taotao ATV Dirt CRF KLX TTR XR Pit Dirt for PZ30 150cc 160cc 200cc 250cc 30mm

I replaced the ShengWey PZ30 carburetor on my 2020 Hawk 250 (same engine as most imported 250cc bikes) after reading suggestions on various online forums, I decided to buy this VM26 Mikuni clone and a variety pack of main jets. I installed a 110 size main jet and changes the air fuel screw to 1-1/2 turns from bottomed out (gently). Installation was very easy, all hardware was of good quality and carburetor overall felt of quality materials. The engine cold started immediately and ran the smoothest it ever has without having any throttle input during warmup even on the middle choke position. I turned up the curb idle screw slightly. After a 20 mile test ride, I am very happy with the outcome. The engine is much smoother and has more power across the whole rpm range, it revs higher and decels beautifully. I will be ordering a pilot jet kit as this comes with a #20 and I feel it could be enrichened more so with only positives to gain.

I purchased this after getting fed up with the carb on my 1980 Honda Xr200. It’s affordable, and works great. Everything fit very well, holes matching up perfect. It is built and produced very well, you can tell when taking it apart. After a little float adjustment my bike finally runs. I’m very happy with this purchase...oh and it came with a parts kit!!!

This was exactly what I was needing… Super easy to install, cheap for the money. Jets come as a 100 for the main and 20 for the pilot. Perfect for my hawk 250.

So everything seems pretty good quality but mine came with what could only be an n224.103 pilot jet instead of a vm28/486. Now the extra jet in the rebuild kit was a vm28 size. Only difference being the end on the vm28 pilot Jets is 2mm and the n224 Jets are 2.5mm. so it broke off while I was trying to remove it and I had to use some drill bits to get the rest of it out it was in there so tight. Once I actually get a kit with the right jet sizes I'm sure this thing will work good though. It's a carb. But wow I don't know how too wide of a jet got in there. They do look the same and have the exact same length and threads to be fair I guess. The needle on the throttle plunger can be adjusted also it looks like. The idle screw seems nice and smooth. The mixture screw isn't capped and it has normal Phillips head screws on the bottom so it's easy to get into. It also looks like some how you can rig a choke cable to the choke lever.

The stock carb that came on my TaoTao Rhino ATV was terrible. I replaced it with this carburetor and HOLY COW the difference was amazing. I think I have twice the power that I had with the stock carb. I recommend you buy a set of main jets with it so you can dial it in for best performance. (I settled on a 105, but I may go to a 110 as I had to raise the needle clear all the way up.) Don't forget to set your pilot screw on the bottom before you install the new carb. Turn it all the way in (gently), then back it up 1.5 turns. Then you can tune it from there to get the best idle.

The stock carb on my Pentora 250 ATV is so lean it takes 10 minutes of starting it 20 times before it would idle. Even when warm the quad is a DOG! Good thing they didn’t let me test ride it, I wouldn’t have bought it. This carb is smaller than the stock one, 26mm vs 30mm but it runs awesome. 2x the power, much better at every RPM. Starts and idles right away. I took the bowl off to clean before install, it looked very clean though. The installed jet is a 100. I haven’t done it yet but looks like the stock choke lever and bracket can be put on, the carb style is the same. Installed like stock.

I HEARD GOOD THINGS ABOUT THIS COMPANY, THAT'S WHY I'M GIVING THEM A 3 STAR.AFTER I INSTALLED THE CARB IT REVVED SO HIGH IT MELTED MY EXHAUST SHIELD.THE IDLE SCREW WOULD NOT WORK. IT REVVED SO HIGH IN JUST ABOUT A MINUTE AND GOT SO HOTI THOUGHT IT WAS GOING TO BLOW UP MY ENGINE. I COULDN'T BELIEVE MY ENGINE GOT SO HOT SO QUICK. THATIT LITERALLY WAS GOING TO BLOW UP. TALK ABOUT PANIC, I DIDN'T KNOW WHAT TO DO. I FREAKED. I COULDN'T FIND THE KILL BUTTON, OR GRAB A WATER HOSE. I GOT IT SHUT OFF AND WAITED FOR THE SMOKE TO CLEAR.NOW I NEED TO BUY A NEW EXHAUST SHIELD FOR MY HAWK 250. AND NEW BOLTS. THEY ARE MELTED TO THE FRAME. THE HAWK DEALER IS 200 MILES FROM ME. NOW I NEED TO TAKE IT TO THE HAWK DEALER TO SEE IF IT HAS INTERNAL DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE. I'VE HEARD GOOD THING ABOUT THIS CARB, THIS ONE JUST DEFECTIVE. IT IS DEFECTIVE.A $30.00 CARBURETOR GOING TO COST ME HUNDREDS MORE AND TIME AND TRAVEL EXPENSE.NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET . MAYBE THIS WON'T HAPPEN TO YOU.RM.

Took this thing right out of the box and installed it on a Honda 200s motor that i have installed in a go kart. The motor started within 3 pulls and runs fairly well. It runs decent with the choke partially on but don't idle well,with a couple more dollars i am going to change the jet size and it should run excellent.

An unserem Cross-Motorrad war ein einfacher Vergaser verbaut, mit dem es immer Probleme gab.Unrunder Lauf usw.Wir haben den Mikuni bestellt. Der hatte vorn aber einen runden Ansaugstutzen. Der Originale aber zum Schrauben.Dann wollten wir ein Adapter bestellen, keiner konnte sagen, welcher zwischen Motor und Vergaser passt.Ich habe dann selber einen gebaut.Vergaser angebaut und der Motor lief sofort einwandfrei rund ohne jegliche Nachjustierung.Lediglich die Leerlaufgemischschraube unten ist etwas unglücklich positioniert.Trotzdem bin ich mit dem Ergebnis sehr zufrieden.
